Do I need a reverse osmosis system, or another filer, to remove higher-than-normal lead and uranium?
or can I use Pur or Brita type to *sufficiently* do the job? I have an infant, he is my world and it is my job to protect him the best way I can. So, you can imagine why the contaminants are a major concern here.
Our last house had great water quality so we have a faucet-mounted Brita… we’d love to buy a new filter and call it a day.I think Brita and the like are able to get rid of lead, but uranium?
So be brutally honest, if I have to shell out the big bucks for reverse osmosis let me know! And please, don’t just say "Move away" or "Don’t drink the water". Those aren’t options : )

I live in a rocky area, like a Native American mountain area. The uranium is not exceeding legal limits but the level is just higher than other areas. The lead is due to a shooting range near the lake we live on. Both substances in my water are above California "health guidelines" due to the lack of enforced federal guides keeping us safe, so this is what I’m going by.

hey guys, im looking to buy a 26" bmx cruiser, they were popular in the 80s. theyre so expensive brand new so i’ve been looking on ebay and i found one it looks nice it has expensive pedals and handle bars on it and looks nice to me but he said the seat post and frame claim to be dasani, he sand papered over the markings. but i heard dasani was kind of a cheap huffy brand and some were given out for free, i also heard they break very easy, but this bike seems to be nice and solid and he said he’d even costum paint subliminal skulls on it for me. do think this is worth it, 0 maybe more for an old 26" bmx cruiser dasani bike, heres the link, tell me what you think please. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170392361988&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching

I want to lose about 30-40lbs but I don’t want to do a restricting diet only to gain the weight back as soon as I reach my goal weight and stop dieting. Right now I eat between 1700-2100 calories per day and I use the elliptical machine for 35 minutes daily. For fluid intake, I am only drinking water. Can I still lose weight this way?

I called support and after a long conversation with a Primo representative they asked me to find the thermostat on my cooler and turn it 1/4 of a turn to the left because its set to high and that’s why its freezing and now working but after being on the phone for 10 minutes I could not find the thermostat she was describing. I just got over the flu, and I felt a little dehydrated, so I opened up a bottled water that my grandmother just bought, Dasani. I never really liked Dasani because it has this… idk weird taste to it, its a lot different than other bottled waters, and it literally tastes artificial. But after a little while my stomach began to feel like it was eating itself, lol. I don’t know whats going on, but I always get like this when I drink Dasani, and I dont know why :[
