I purchased a microfiber couch and loveseat a week ago. After removing a food stain with water, it left a very large water stain, which I can’t remove. I had the furniture treated by Stainsafe, who told me that a blow dryer on low helps prevent this from happening. Too late for these water spots, though. I am so upset and don’t know what to try now. Please advise; I had no idea that microfiber was like this.

It is told that lemon water helps with weight loss, but how effective is it? Not the detox diet, but just drinking lemon water throughout the day, how much weight could you possibly lose in a week? In a month? I am curious to know how effective it really is in losing weight.

The line leading to the water valve (solenoid) is pressurized on the back, but the water supply line to the ice maker is not pressurized. Also, the water dispenser is barely dripping out.

Does it sound like the water valve? (My fridge is only 2 years old.) If so, can I manually work the valves until the valve is replaced?

There was some ice on the tube extension leading to the ice maker, and I got the out.

It does not have any salt in it right now, but there is water in it, maybe about a foot deep. Do we just dump salt right into the water? Do we fill it to the top with salt? What kind of salt is best to use?

I just bought a test kit, even so I owned fish for a year ( even though I just found out about the nitrogen cycle..). Anyways, I found that I have no ammonia problems, but that I have a high pH, and High water hardness (380-420). And my fish are taking an abnormally large amount of craps. I’m not sure what my fish species are, but I also found that there are now baby minnows in the tank, so some of the fish must of mated =). Any advice on how to lower the water hardness and possibly any side comments on what to do with the baby minnows? Oh, and none of the fish are big enough to eat them (hopefully). I keep fresh water fish.

How do you know that you need to add salt to your hard water softener? How much do you add … the entire 40 pound bag? Do you need to add anything else, like water?
Um … moron … the salt tank is bigger than my bathtub. And there are no fill lines. And there IS water in it.

Is there a way to clean a filter for PUR water purifier? We have the jug one and they recamend you change them ever 2 months. It seems like this is a bit of a waste and expensive to boot. Can you just clean it in bleach or something and continue to use it? Or is there a different way that would work? If so then how? IF you can’t then please give a reason as to why?
How do you recamend cleaning it?

I’m a writer and I created a hot spring spa. It is in an area where they need to grow food wherever they can, so I was wondering if I could put rice or lotus and maybe celery in there.

What type of hardy fish can live in water softener water?

I normally plant my Summer garden in a garden bed and water accordingly. This year, I decided to give the soil a break and use pots instead. I am wondering if I should water daily like I did when they were planted in the ground or every 2-3 days since I am using large pots. I don’t want to kill them with too much water but I want to know people’s experience when using pots.

This question may not be so necessary, but does drinking many cups of water helps you lose weight? Does it help you maintain your weight too? Because I shouldn’t drink any hot tea everyday.
