Yes, very much worth it. We have one, the filters last a long time. I will have to dig out the manual to see how often to change.
It is like bottled water on demand. Save a few of the empty bottles, the better ones, and fill from the Brita. Don’t fill too full, throw them in the freezer and you will have iced bottle water on demand. Just grab and go.
It is well worth it.
We also have a Brita water pitcher my fiance carries with her to work. She is a caregiver and she can filter any water anywhere.

I use the Brita water filter in a pitcher. My water tastes of chlorine and this filter does a great job in making the water taste good.
So, it depends on what your water tastes like.
I change the filter every two months, but it will depend upon your usage. Make sure that the filter on the sink can be adjusted so that you are not using it when washing dishes.
That’s why I prefer the pitcher.
I like Britas, I have a jar and it works great! the taste changes , feels cleaner and crispier, the filter needs to be changed every 2-3 months, I got mine at walmart, saves me money1… good option to bottled water
