Can I put aquarium water conditioner into the water for my house plants?
Instead of letting the water sit out, can I just add a few drops of that water conditioner that is for aquariums, to remove the chlorine? Or is that bad for house plants?

You can install an undersink carbon filter (we can sell you the filter and housing for about $50) and that would remove the chlorine. Another alternative is the Reionator; it is a whole-house water conditioner that is WQA certified to remove chlorine, and softens or conditions the water as well. It regenerates using potassium instead of sodium, so the plants love it (better for you, too!)
I’m not sure what’s in conditioner, but I’ve never seen its use recommended for plants, either.
I keep a gallon jug of water out for the plants. Not only does this let the chlorine evaporate, but it warms the water up to room temperature too, so watering with it doesn’t shock the roots.
I’d have to say no.
