My friend and I were over his house washing our cars and he said the hose water is very hard and has lots of minerals in the water. Hes washed his car a few times using that water and said everytime he washes his car it leaves the car, including the car windows, white and cloudy. I washed mine for the first time using that water and didnt leave it white and cloudy. Is this really the water causing this "Cloudy" appearance? Is there anything to do to prevent it or any product/cleaner that will get rid of it? Thanks.

I have a friend who drinks nothing but bottled Evian water while I mostly drink out of the tap, though bottled water when out.

Do you like Mineral Water or Tap Water or no difference between the two?

…Does it filter out fluoride?
He does want to make sure his drinking water contains fluoride. But he is not sure what kind of filter the refrigerator uses for the drinking water. Does anyone know about this? Do most water filters allow the passage of fluoride?

I have a four month old apricot pug and for the past week, she’s on an antibiotic to treat a urinary tract infection. How she got it, I have no clue. We tried changing her water source from Culligan to tap water and we also changed her food from Royal Canin to IAMS. I’m starting to think her UTI was caused from the food but I could be wrong. My vet recommended buying IAMS so we went with that.

Anyway, I went to Petco yesterday and I asked the employee if she could explain more about UTI and she said stress could be one of the factors. My pug has been settled here at home for almost two months. Maybe she’s a little stressed out that we’re trying to train her not to chew on the furniture or bite me or my other family members and perhaps we’ve stepped over her boundary just a tad. I don’t know.

My second question is that I want to train her to use the potty indoors AND outdoors but its tough to take her outside when its pretty cold first thing in the morning or when its raining (I know its going to rain as we approach the spring and summer months). What are some things you folks do to help train your puppy/dog on when to go potty outdoors? Do you train her to ring a bell or scratch some surface to let you know that she needs to go potty?

cos there are like "mineral waters".. so is water a mineral?

I am looking for the type of water dispenser that is bottle included. That means I don’ t have to go to the store for refill after it’s emptied; I can just fill it up with tap water and the filter is located inside the dispenser so that I can replace it when needed. I’ve been looking everywhere and I couldn’t find one just like the way I described. They only have bottle-sold-separately dispenser. If any of you owned one as I described, please let me know where you got it and what’s the brand ? Thanks !

This all happened by accident so-I’m just wondering if I should feel guilty or not. I’d like your opinion. OK…It appears that the local funeral director, Casey Culligan, is close to his deathbed. I heard that the authorities were doing some kind of toxicology screen so I had the rat poison hidden in Thelma’s (pronounced El-mah) pantry. She is my white trailer trash, toothless, dyed blonde g/f. Anyway, the authorities came to her place with a search warrant and found the rat poison. For whatever reason, they arrested her, so now I’m free of her. But now I feel kind of guilty, but I’m not sure why. OK so I did put some rat poison on the springs of the upholstery of the back seat of the Pontiac Parisenne, but did I tell Casey to rub his ugly butt against them and get a lethal dose? NO! Anyway should I feel guilt of the incredible relief at seeing Thelma taken away in handcuffs? It saves me having to have that “talk” with her. It’s much easier to break-up this way.Do you agree?

I’m talking about the cat and dog water dispensers that you can flip over and the water doesn’t leak because of the air pressure pushing down. Could you scale that up to a much larger size or does it only work on a small scale?

Okay, so I just brought home my baby today. I was planning on breastfeeding but it didn’t work out. At the hospital they had the pre-made bottles, so when I came home to start making my own I read the can and started looking up other questions I had. My baby just woke up screaming so I went to make a bottle. The bottle I had didn’t have oz anywhere on it, and the can said mix the same amount of water to powder so I poured one level scoop (2oz) of powder in and used the scoop to level the water as well. I noticed it didn’t make nearly as much as the hospital’s pre-made bottle but she was screaming to be fed so I gave it to her. Now I’m freaking out, I went and looked at another bottle I have and it shows the oz on it (go figure I couldn’t have grabbed that one). I’ve read online about it causing damage to the baby when its too concentrated…what can I do to fix it?? Should I give her a little water?? Also, is it necessary to heat formula up? I used a cup to set the bottle in and warm it a little. And is culligan water safe, or do I need to go out tomorrow and invest in the Nursery water? I know I should have researched this before, but I was set on breastfeeding…calm me down please!?
