Why does mineral water that 'has trickled through mountains for centuries' have a 'use by' date
Just wonderin’
Just wonderin’
In April we had Culligan install a soft water system in our home. That same week we put in a new vinyl floor. Upon installation the tech drilled two unwary holes into the floor and ripped the vinyl. Since then we have gone back and forth with the company regarding them fixing it. I haven’t paid the monthly service since April because I want them to fix the floor. After all, it was a brand new floor. They came out and took pictures of the damage and now tell us that until we pay the balance on the account they won’t do anything.
I feel that if we pay them then we will be admitting that we were happy with the service and won’t have any legal recourse. What are my options and can I legally not pay them until they fix my floor?
I was suppose to place a needle each 3 different solutions to find out which had greater surface tension, but it was impossible to conclude that when the pan was 5 cm deep, and the needle sank in all the solutions. Since water is denser would it be water, then ethyl alcohol, and mineral oil last? going from most surface tension to least.
Anyone also know what diffused faster H20 or -OH?
Basically bottled water with minerals added. This could be anything from just water, to drinks like Gatorade.
When a certain amount of water is drunk from the bowl, more water flows automatically from the bottle into the bowl. The bowl never overflows. Explain the operation of the dispenser. Does the height of the water in the bottle depend on the surface area of the water in the bowl?
is all the gas in the mineral water bad for me?
I am sure that water can be heated, but I’m not sure about the others.
Please explain why,
**my mom won’t let me use the microwave to "experiment" these materials, even though I can use for anything else.
I have a hot water dispenser around the size of a blender that i want to carry on with me. Will that pass the tsa security at the airport? Also, would a bag of miniature coffee creamers similar to the ones given with coffee at McDonalds pass as well? Answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I just realized that my water softener hasn’t been plugged in for some time now. plugged it in, and the drain for the water softener began to drain in the sink dark brown water? I rereallyave very little idea about water softeners, so i dodon’tnow what to do? let it run its cycle? I have the Culligan 59 (pretty old i think?).
Also, how do i do all the settings and stuff? Like when should i have it run/recharge/whatever its called? These’s the dile that if you turn it, it stops draining water, and then if you keep turning it when it gets back to that same spot it starts again (turning it manually). Where should this dile be set at? Help!!
I’ve tried looking around, but the only things that came up were about algal blooms, and that’s not what I want to know. Are there minerals that occur naturally (without human intervention – food colouring isn’t what I want!) that can make water red? Preferably not just muddy. It doesn’t really matter if the stuff is poisonous, this is just theoretical.
Looking for an answer in number of atmospheres (e.g. sparkling wine is usually greater than three atmospheres.)
there is lots of white ice forming around the ice cube and water dispenser, I would like to avoid a costly service call, can anybody tell me if this is something that I can fix myself, thanks
OK…my paramour, Thelma (pronounced El-mah) has stepped out on me with non other than our local funeral director, Casey Culligan, the sleaze bag. Thelma, my white trailer trash g/f with dyed blonde hair and no teeth—another words, a Goddess…has been up to no good with this speck of humanity in the back seat of the rusted out ’67 Pontiac Parisenne that I bought for her—the vehicle that is sitting on cylinder blocks as my trembling hands write this in jealous fury. Anyway….Thelma has this habit of using the metal springs that stick out the upholestry to "pleasure" her lover. I know from experience. So—a few moments ago, I snuck into the trailer park and put some fine traces of rat poison all over the metal springs. This will definetly be a sore spot for the funeral director. Is there any other vengeful acts I can perpetrate?? Your thoughts and advice????
