Water, especially clean and pure water is something that most of us probably take for granted. In the good old days of the distant past, most people could just drink tap water without any worries of any contamination. Nowadays, it is a completely different story. Having a good water filter for your home and for your drinking water is essential, unless, of course, you buy bottled water for all of your drinking water needs.
There is plenty to be concerned about when it comes to drinking water and the contaminants found in most tap water.
There is bacteria, strains of antibiotics, fluoride, chlorine, lead and other heavy metals and sometimes benzine and other harmful materials.
When looking at various makes and models of under the counter and counter top water filters, check to see exactly what they do and do not eliminate. Some remove only the heavy metals but do not remove other toxins that require a more sophisticated method of filtration, such as reverse osmosis.
Out of all of the water filters, there are only certain ones made for home use that actually remove all of the pathogens and chemicals such as fluoride and arsenic. Many of the other filters leave these toxins in the water even after it's been filtered.
It is very important to get the best possible water filter that will provide you with truly pure drinking water with the least amount of contamination and impurities possible.
Some refrigerators have water filters that are built right into the door. Some of these work well but most do not eliminate all of the chemicals from your water.

Dasani. It has minerals added and goes through reverse osmosis. I prefer the flavor that reverse osmosis and the added minerals provide.
Aquafina, Dasani has a funky taste to it.

exactly the same. Bottled water is the biggest scam going. The have taste tests all the time and the winner is usually tap water.
Dasani…there’s not a huge difference, but the water looks blue because of the bottle color which is cool and it SEEMS to taste better.
It doesn’t matter. They are energy wasters because of the plastic and most bottled water comes from city taps to begin with. You are wasting your money.
Aquafina is better than Dasani because Dasani is made by Coke and I love pepsi products. And Dasani leaves a funny taste in my mouth. Aquafina is nice and crisp.

Only reason I’d decide, is because Coke is headquartered about 20 miles from where I live… which would make me lean towards Daisani.

I think that Aquafina tastes better. Dasani has added salt which keeps your hands attatched to the bottle. Freaky huh? =]

Definitely Aquafina. Dasani adds way too much salt, enough that it doesn’t even quench your thirst. It just makes you want more. What a scam…
My taste buds can’t tell the difference between bottled waters, but I like the shape of the Aquafina bottle. It just better fits my hand so thats what I usually drink.

Both are purified by reverse osmosis and both taste pretty good, but for some reason I prefer Aquafina.

I love Dasani because I trust it’s pure and clean and it tastes great! In response to the folks who commented on the salt and minerals on the label, Coke needs to add salt and minerals back to the water after the triple-reverse osmosis process because the resulting water is so dry and unpleasant tasting (have you ever tried drinking distilled water?). I just love Dasani! It quenches my thirst wonderfully and I never run out of it!
