Distilled water or spring water for my disaster preparation kit?
If I’m buying bottled water for use after a flood, fire, earthquake, alien invasion, etc, should I choose distilled water or spring water? How long will it last before I have to throw it away and buy a new supply? If it’s stored in my garage, and it gets to 90F there, will that prematurely "spoil" the water?

what will hapen is that over long periond of time is the plastic will lose strength and wiil taste bad, but the water will be fine. also distilled water will kill aliens, so if you think that might hapen buy those.
Beer, after all, whats better during a disaster.
Wine, it gets better with age.
I didn’t know it was possible for water to "spoil". As for the choice between distilled and spring water, I didn’t know there was a major difference.
I’d go with distilled water, since spring water can have little buggies in it which you don’t want to deal with during an emergency. Just keep in mind that spring water tastes better than pure H2O.
