Do normal Britta filters take the chlorine out of tap water?
I need to give water to my tadpoles and even a small amount of chlorine can kill them so I want to know.

No, it will have trace amounts of chlorine and chloramines (another component in tap water thats harmful to many marine creatures) You can go down to the pet store and purchase a bottle of dechlorinator from the fish section to get rid of it. I use ZooMed Hermit Crab water conditioner, its cheap (about 2.99 for a bottle that lasts a loooong time) and does the job of removing all the harmful chlorine and chloramine so tap water is safe for marine animals.
It reduces it but doesn’t remove it.
