Do water filters (like Brita or Pur) remove any of the sodium from softened water? This is for baby formula.?
I’m not sure yet if the cold water is softened, but it comes out of the same tap…

If you have well water…you are safer to buy baby water..if you live in a city and have water from the city….that is fine. Try asking the doctor..thats what they are there for.
I wouldnt chance it, I always used baby water, you can find it at super walmart in the water isle… here its in the same isle as the liquer and beer, and its only like 80 cents a gallon
Any water that tastes clean will be more than sufficient for mixing formula. Whatever mineral content is or may be in clean tap water is far, far too small to affect even the youngest newborn.
If your water tastes or smells of sulpher, use any plain bottled water. And I do mean Any.
steam distilled water is best for humans it is pure h2o
