drinking water only assists in weight loss in that it makes you feel full and maximizes the efficiency of your body’s metabolism. You need to be drinking a minimum of 2 LITERS everyday just for health purposes, remember the human body is over 70% water, if you don’t stay hydrated, things slow down and it’s harder to lose the weight.
I have heard that drinking water helps the fat burning process.
It also flushes your system of impurities.

Give you better skin. Yes you could lose weight if thats the only thing you drink.
Water is VERY good for you but if you think that just by drinking more water you’ll loose weight then you are mistaken.
Water removes toxins in your body (flushes you out) but if you’re not eating right and working out then nothing will happen.
drinking a normal amount of water a day will make you loose weight, but not if your not changing your diet.. and if you drink more then a gallon of water a day, its not good for you. If you put limes in your water.. it makes it digest way better. Oh, and scarfing it down you, wont do anything.. If you just take a swallow every few minutes.. its way better for you.
It depends on what you mean by "a lot of water". For the average sedentary person, a 6 glass minimum is the recommendation. For a hard training athlete, they would require more. You need a minimum amount to allow your body to function properly, which may include losing weight if you’re doing something (diet/exercise) to induce weight loss. Drinking excessive amounts will not increase weight loss.
Yes it will help as you won’t be eating as much. It also helps to flush toxins from your body and to hydrate your muscles which will make you feel more energetic. The basic rule of thumb regarding liquids other than caffeinated or alcoholic beverages is to drink 8oz for each waking hour – in other words if you’re awake for 16 hours you should drink 128 oz. The 128oz can come from any drinks that are not caffeinated or alcoholic. Caffeine and alcohol are both diuretics so it is recommended you drink an equal amount of water for each of these types of beverages you consume.
yes but you have to drink a half gallon of distill water only!!!!!
just fill up 5 bottle water with distill water and you will see the difference.
stay away from tap water dangerous for all of us.
Water will help fill you up. Since it has no calories, it’s much better for you than say soda. If you drink a glass of water before each meal, it will help you to eat less.
drinking water as PART of a weight loss program is very good. you also have to eat eight and exercise. don’t drink too much water, either, because you can cause an electrolyte imbalance, which if extreme, can cause death by water intoxication. no more than 64 ounces in any 24 hour period.
Yes, it does help speed up your metabolism. But be careful in drinking to much because it takes away your salt intake.
