Is it normal the the green light will blink like 3-5 limes and then stop? It doesnt say so in the manual that the green lights remains on everytime you use the filter. Is it normal that it blinks 3-5 times or it should stay on while the filter is on?

My water heater has a shut off valve on the cold water intake side but not on the hot water going out side.
Would I just shut the cold side off on the heater and run some hot water to stop the flow of hot water thru the house?

Just have some questions, since this will be my first purchase of a whole house filtration system
How difficult is this to set up?
Reinstaling cartridges…easy or not?
How will I know when it’s time to change filters? Will debris begin resurfacing in our water?
Is this the best for the cost, or should I buy the most expensive model?
