Help! Can’t find the knob to turn on the water to my refrigerator! The delivery guys could not find the knob.?
I have an old house (1945) and we used to have ice but had it turned off years ago because of the bad water. But, now that we have a filter, we want ice and got a new refrigerator but the delivery guys could not find the knob. Next to the refrigerator is a dryer and next to that a washer. And the wall behind the refrigerator is the bathroom. The delivery guys could not find the knob on the wall that turns on the water. How did we used to have this hooked up?

Do you still have the tubing at the back of refer.? Is it possible that it came up through the floor? Valve maybe under house. If not pick up a self-piercing saddle valve, shut off valve and tubing and run a new one. It’s quick and easy!
Hope this helps!

Look under the sink.(the most common place for fridge water line) If not there, probably under the house.
go to your w/h if all else fails go into attic or under floor and trace the line
simply trace the line no better way
