How is the quality of drinking water in Hong Kong? Sorry, I closed out the previous question too quickly?

Is in-house water filtering system still needed, because those last-mile pipes to your home usually are not well maintained? Is Brita generally good enough for such purpose?

Yes, in house water filtering system is still needed. The water quality in Hong Kong is very poor and generally, nobody there drinks straight from their tap. The pipes there are quite old and contaminates the water. Brita is generally good enough for such purposes. Any in house filtering system will do. However, if you want to be on the safe side, boil your water too to remove the bacteria. It’s always best to go the extra mile just to be safe.
