How would I fix the hot water leak at the bathtub without turning off the hot water?
Sorry, this sounds so lame but I can’t find a shut off anywhere. I’m thinking I may just have to shut off the main water line and let the hot water drain. Any safe ideals how I can accomplish this without having to shut down the entire water line to the house or take the wall out to find a shut off is appreciated.

Just locate the sub-control valve for the hot water line of your bathtub then close it , it is located usually from .15 to 2 meters away from any water outlet such as faucet, bathtub, shower, ect… this sub-control valve is required by plumbing / building code for maintenance for maintenance purposes
Very few tubs have a shut off because of lack of access. Use the main shut off valve. There is no need to drain the ot water tank. Since the preesure has been shut off at the main, there will be no pressure to force water out of the faucets.
