Doesn’t everybody use tapwater to boil for tea coffee etc? We drink tapwater straight from the tap.
Where do you live?
For the most part YES. Boiling water is very safe (after it has cooled down) to drink. I sometimes use boiling water to sterilize my silverware.
yes
Depends where you live.
If you lived where I did, then nothing is safe with tap water. :/
yes, its safe. if that water condition not contains too much ore and this Ph around 7 , its safe for drinking because all bacteries, fungi and virusses die in boiling water
Yes because the heat in the watter will kill any bateria. Plus when water is contaiminated people will issue boiled water notices. This mean make yoru water safe by boiling. Thus it mean it is just as safe as a purifiation system. Just dont use already hot watter to boil, boil cold tap.
In the U.S. tap water should be safe for drinking unless it comes from some kind of contaminated well.
Whenever the city water supply is compromised, the advice is always to boil the water for a certain amount of time before drinking. Boiling will ‘kill the germs’ in the water.
Filters and softeners will take out the minerals and other contaminants in the water. Traditional softeners add sodium to the water. Filters do not.
Do not depend on filters and softeners whenever the water supply has been compromised by a break in the water main, for example. In that kind of situation always boil your water.
Otherwise, filtering, softening, boiling, etc…It’s the drinker’s choice!
It is safe. Boiling water for 8-10 minutes will kill just about any bacteria that may be in the water.
Yes it is…
Mostly every water is safer after you boil it
Boiling water is an added precaution!
