Is Evaporated water pure?
I know that maybe in a city with pollution, when the evaporated water comes down, it may not be pure due to pollution. But my question is in a controlled environment, does water that is evaporated into gas form, and then back into water, how pure will it be? Is there anything in water that can remain with it in its gas form?
If there is something that travels with it even through evaporation, is this water as pure as lets say commercially filtered water?
Please back up your answers if you can.
Thanks
Water vapor is the gas form of water.
H20 in gas form.

As long as the impurities do no have the same or lower boiling part as water. If the impurities do have the same or lower boiling point as water, then the water vapor will contain the impurities that are in gas form.
water does not turn into gas here with normal conditions, you are talking about water vapor not water gas. If you were able to collect the water alone yes
well i know salt doesn’t go with it because salt watter can evaporate then when it condenses it’s fresh non salt water. but you’re right in some cases there is acid rain but im not sure if that comes from the water itself or stuff already in the atmosphere.
Distilling water by heating up a sample to boiling point of the water then having the gas pass through a condenser, the water that exits will be pure with no pollution.
