Is it bad to water your yard with softener water?

We have hard water where I live, so we have installed a water softener. Should I bypass the softener when I water my grass. I know the water contains salt, but is it enough to kill the grass or harm the environment?

You outside spinkets should already be by passed, check them. Its not good to water with soft water, first many minerals are removed second it cost you money, and third it has sodium.
