Is it safe to drink tap water in san bernardino, CALIFORNIA? If not, where do I get drinkable water from?
I’m moving into a subsidized apartment and problem is that there aren’t any water filters there not even on the refrigerator.
So do I actually need to buy them from the store?

The water has to meet legal standards to be "drinkable". If it’s coming out of the tap, it meets the standards. Now, that said – whether or not you enjoy the taste may be a whole different story.
You could always buy an attachment filter for the kitchen sink if you don’t relish the thought of lugging around those 1 gallon jugs.
i don’t see what’s wrong with buying water from the store..
i do that all the time.
it’s safe enough…
