Why would you even WANT to drink that water-? Are you serious-?? Why not use the Britta filter on ordinary water-??? The humidifier takes water out of the air which is filled with dust particles, mold spores, pollen, and yes – bacteria. Who knows how much the filter will remove-??
try it and see
make sure you have alot of Imodium on hand just in case
just use it to water plants. see what brita filters out. Boiling water will probably kill all the bacteria. Boil it for like at lest 5 minutes.
Save it for the plants.
I wouldn’t drink it but it is good for washing hair.
eeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwww
I think it would be okay. That is how distilled water is made, by pulling it out of the air.
Yuk, don’t do that!!!! lol
No. I believe most dehumidifiers carry a warning against drinking the water that they produce. Just take a look at the filter and you’ll have second thoughts. I agree with the other commenters – save it for the plants.

The water collected in a dehumidifier is not the same as distilled water because distilled water is boiled and thus sterilized. Fungal spores can grown in your dehumidifier and the water can contain high levels of microbal contamination. If you are really set on drinking the stuff, you should at least boil it…same goes for using it in a hydroponic system.
