Is there a way to test your tap water for cleanliness?
I don’t feel comfortable drinking tap water. In my opinion, there is more incentive for Coca Cola to make clean Dasani, than it is for the government.
Both are making clean water because it’s the law, but Coca Cola has the extra incentive because they’re afraid they would get sued, which would negatively affect company earnings, etc.
So with that said, how can I test my tap water?

All of the chemicals used in the water are safe for use in foods, but as we all know the more chemicals we consume in our food/drinks the more potential harm it can create. With the trend of eating organic foods and choosing ones produced without pesticides, choosing to drink water from a Brita filter or a safe bottled water company may be a better alternative.
yes you can buy a kit that tests your water for acid and alkalline drops to see if clear if blue is good yellow is acid
Ask your local water department for their annual water inspection report. Also look a the peanut butter problem last year. Simply because companies are out to make money doesn’t mean they care about their customers. And if they cam make more money than they will get sued for why wouldn’t they put out a tainted product?
Distill your own tap water. This removes any pathogens as well as fluoride, which causes cancer.
Get a stock pot with a lid that doesn’t have a plastic handle. Fill it with water a little bit and put a cleaned brick or some other large object in the bottom. Next, place a bowl on top of the brick, right side up (as if you were going to eat out of the bowl). Make sure the water well below the bowl. Put the lid on the pot UPSIDE DOWN and fill the upturned lid with ice. Put this on the oven and boil it. The liquid that collects inside of the bowl will be pure, distilled water. Do this often enough and bottle it in sanitised glass bottles and you won’t have to worry about how safe your water is.
