How did the following gases (Carbon dioxide, Water, Nitrogen) change during these times:

1. The Early Earth had no atmosphere or ocean.
2. Then volcanic gases and comets vaporizing on impact with the Earth released gases that became the atmosphere.
3. Originally, the atmosphere was hot and all water was in the form of water vapor.
4. Then, as the Earth cooled, water vapor condensed and fell as rain, covering the Earth in one big ocean until continents formed.

We hear a lot about CO2 being added to the atmosphere via combustion of fossil fuels and the negative effects of that. What about the release of water via combustion. Does combustion vapor affect weather, climate change, ocean levels, etc.? In addition, we are releasing a great deal of water into the atmosphere by removing ground water for consumption and irrigation.

The drawing shows a spherical reservoir that contains 4.70 x 10^5 kg of water when full. (height of house b above ground = 7.40 m.) The reservoir is vented to the atmosphere at the top. For a full reservoir, find the gauge pressure that the water has at the faucet in each house. Ignore the diameter of the delivery pipes. The cylinder base that holds up the sphere of the tower is 15m tall.
