Iv recently moved to the countryside from the city where I now have well water.Do I need to put bleach or chlorine in the well & how often?And also anything else that you can tell me please. Thx.

I use well water in my home and one of my toilets is a The Gerber Ultra Flush. My other toilets I can put some bleach into the tank from time to time to get the deposits out. The Ultra flush is a closed system. There is black crap coming out with the clean water. Can I open the plastic tank and add bleach?

I cleaned out my water cooler using water & bleach and I rinsed it like 6 times. My water has a very faint bleach taste now. Out of curiousity I tested my water with a pool kit i had to see what the chlorine level was and it was high (3.0). How harmful is it to drink this water?

I have well water and had soem trouble with my water softener. The water softener is fixed but I have several articals of clothing (white, cottons) that have been stained with minerals. These clothes have been put through a the dryer. Is there anyway that I can remove these stains?

I can not use bleach in my home.

I left a cast iron skillet on the counter for a day and it got wet under it. It has left rust stains on the counter top. I have tried regular kitchen cleaner and straight bleach, but nothing has worked. Do you have any suggestions????

I have some floating aquatic plants that may have snail eggs on them. Will unconditioned tap water kill them? Will it harm the plants? I could bleach the plants with a dilute mixture of bleach/water but if I can accomplish the same thing with a few days in a bucket of tap water, i would prefer that.

i wait for the green light to go off and then when filled my water bottle the water smelt like dead fish. and so i didnt drink it and today i let it run for 30 seconds but the water still smells like rotten fish. why? before i got my filter the water didnt smell at all tasted a little like bleach but thats why i got the filter and now my water smells like fish?

We recently replaced the anode rod which was just about gone, by the way with an aluminum one. We have a fairly new water softener due to having well water and also have a Culligan whole house water filtration unit. After replacing the anode rod, we ran the monthly bleach through the whole house water filtration unit. Now the hot water smells like eggs.

I have a gravity fed spring to my house as a back up water source and it was air locked for a couple days and I just fixed it today and we poured some bleach in it and now the water is yellow. why and how can I change it.

Is there a way to clean a filter for PUR water purifier? We have the jug one and they recamend you change them ever 2 months. It seems like this is a bit of a waste and expensive to boot. Can you just clean it in bleach or something and continue to use it? Or is there a different way that would work? If so then how? IF you can’t then please give a reason as to why?

I have one of the dog bowls with the big huge bottle of water on top so when the dog drinks, it refills itself. I’m wondering how to clean inside of the bottle.. What should I use and how to I do it? Thank you.
How can slime be O.K. for a dog? And if I use bleach, what if some of the bleach water stays in the bottle? My dog may get sick….
