I just got a betta fish ( I named it Swimmie). I have it’s home and I have the water conditionor. I used bottled water that was already room temperature and then I added about 1 cup of cold water from my Brita because I ran out of bottle water. Its been about 12 hours and I haven’t put swimmie in it’s home yet because the water is cold to my touch. Do they like cold or warm water?

I want to cut back on how much bottle water our family drinks, on average I go through about 3 bottles of waters per day out of a 24 back and thats just me. We buy the brand "Pure Life" and i was wondering if anyone can suggest a way to get clean water that wont have a metallic taste to it. Ive heard of jars were you put water in them and as the water goes into the jar it gets clean? idk but any ideas im open to them, thank you very much

I’m talking about three different kinds of flavored water:
1) like if I just put one of the kool-aid or any flavor packet into regular bottle water then is it still as good for you as drinking the plain water?
2) I have not drunk these in a long time, but those waters that fizz up like soda and they are still clear, and have like 0 calories, fats, and basically everything else. Is that still basically water.
3) and like the flavored Dansai waters.

Needed to know if anyone knows anything about a Oster hot and cold water dispenser stainless steel. If the water gets cold and if you can use a regular water bottle with out the pierceable sealed caps. No where on line that I could find do they tell you any information on this product except you can find it at Target but only shows the product and price and no additional information. Need to know, we buy bottled water but they do not have the pierceable sealed caps and they don’t come that way. Please advise. Have the product but have not taken it out of the box until we find out if it will except the bottle water bottles without the pierceable sealed caps.

I live in an old building and i am scared that the pipes are contaminated with oxidants or dirty, so i have been feeding my dogs with bottle water. Is this ok? Will this cause them any harm?

Don’t know about your water, but here it’s beige and wouldn’t drink it unless yo boiled it. So we have to buy bottled water and it cost money!!!!!!! If they fixed the drinking water it would make jobs for plumbers, pipe fitters and stuff like that. The bottle water lobbyist have done their jobs well, thanks.

Just curious. Our dogs were drinking filtered water but now they are just drinking tap water….though they don’t like it. But they are coming around. The filter was so expensive to replace we now get ourselves the bottle water.
My grandfather though when we visit him gives them spring water (bottled) and that is what he gives his dog.
Just curious as to what your dog drinks and why?
My dogs used to drink nothing but filtered water and bottled spring water their whole lives…I even can tell a difference in the taste and the first day they wouldn’t touch the tap water…then they got thristy
I have an issue giving them the tap water (I know what lake it comes from and its a nasty lake I don’t care how much treatment it has) I mean I won’t drink it why should I make them….but my husband says we aren’t going to buy them water….they are dogs

Is drinking bottled water bad for you? More specifically Dasani made by the Coca Cola company. I’m strictly avoiding all soft drinks including things like Minute Maid and Five Alive made by Pepsi, does anyone know if they might add suspicious substances into bottle water like caffeine to create addiction?

Should I use distilled, spring, drinking water? Which is best and do I still have to add water conditioner to the bottle water before putting it in the tank? Thanks

Currently I buy a case of water a week (20 bottles), but our city doesn’t recycle bottles. It makes me feel bad that something I buy is so bad for the earth. The thing is our water tastes gross and the Walmart bottle water is the only water I can find that doesn’t have an unusual aftertaste. I totally gave up bad sugars and caffeine, so Kool Aid isn’t going to help.

Someone please help! I don’t want to buy bottle water anymore because of all the recent news about bpa and toxins in plastic bottling. I have an infant and 3 year old and I am very concerned about the safety of their water.
I wanted to get a water filter but lately read that ALL of U.S. water systems contain tons of pharmaceutical drugs that cause potentially dangerous side effects from long-term low dose exposure, Apparenttly the drugs come from sewer water that is pipe back anf filtered into tap water except that the city’s filtering process does not recognize nor remove the drug substances.
I’m having a huge headache now trying to decide what I can do to provide the best water for my children. I’ve heard that reverse osmosis system removes the drugs but they cost a lot and wastes up to 6 gallons of water to produce 1 gallon of drinking water…not very environmentally friendly for me.
Anyone have any better ideas?
thanks!
and for those who don’t know about the prescription drugs in our water just google it…it’s the latest thing…anything from aspirin to chemo drugs…research is still little but many say it has dangerous effects over long periods of exposure.
