My school is attempting to be more eco-friendly and we want to conserve water by installing automatic faucets that turn off when not in use. However, the ones I can find are way out of budget. Any suggestions?

Hello,

My shower faucet is dripping and is there something that I can do to make it stop dripping without calling a plumber? The knob are turned as tight as I can get them but there is still a drip. It may seem like I am being petty but I am on a fixed budget and those drips turn into dollars. Plumber are very expensive and it may be something simple that I can do. Any suggestions would help. Thanks

What to eat to gain weight?

Hi, I want to hit the gym again to pack on some weight and muscle.

With my budget, I may only want to spend 0 week (max) on food. I would like to eat 5-times a day, but I may have to delay to 3 times on certain days. What types of foods should I consider?

Here is a list of things I’m considering:
Ham and Turkey deli sandwich on wheat bread? (affordable!)
Peanut butter
Scrambled Eggs
Milk
Chicken Breast? (except I do not know how to cook them)
Water (I have a Pur water filter juge)
V8 Fusion.

I’m 67" tall and weigh 146 lbs.

Ok, lets be real here. Like I said, I’m on a budget – no cakes, cookies or unnecessary stuff. I have a high metabolism, so even if I ate junk food I would still be at 140/150 lbs.

Please suggest only REAL food. I also purchased a 2lb juge of 100% Whey Protein (from Designer Whey).

So i’m a college student with a small budget but i hate the tap water where i live. i wanna buy a water filter like the pitcher ones but i wanna know what’s best. I just bought one of the cheap Pur brand ones thats like 15$. I haven’t tried it yet but is this a good one or really just a rip off? Again what is the best if not this one?

I am looking to purchase a water filtration system for my kitchen faucet. I have seen Pur and Brita and am wondering which is best. It also looks like they have a level 2 and 3 filtration system. I want to stay within a budget and not go too crazy and am wondering which one is best. Any ideas?

Would it work on a budget of 5 000 000 USD? If it wouldn’t, how much would it cost? Or is that too much?

I’m not looking to get into a debate of whether or not tap water in the US is safe or not! Please don’t reply to tell me the water is ok…

I live in central PA and they’re switching their water systems from using chlorine (which I wasn’t thrilled about to begin with) to "chloramine".. Now all I drink is tap water and because of the medicine I’m on, I drink a LOT of it! We’re also looking into having children and it would be an EXTREMELY high risk pregnancy, so It’s really important to me to have out all excess chemicals as much as possible. (Heck I’m more worried about the chemicals than the bacteria now, thanks to the water company!)

However, we’re also on a budget! What’s the cheapest EFFECTIVE way to filter water- the kind that attaches to a faucet, the pitcher type, or is my best bet to stick with bottled water for drinking instead of playing with filters?
