Can i lose weight by only drinking cold water and eating fruits and vegetables for 2 or 3 months?
I have two "COLD" settings on my washing machine, one is under "Auto Temp Control", and the other one isn’t. When I set it to "Auto Temp Control", it uses a combination of warm and cold water. But if I set to the other one, it uses just cold water. Which one is more appropriate to use if I’m using Tide Cold Water detergent?
My water cooler has been acting funny recently. Hot water works no problem. But the cold water side is the problem. When I push the spigot, sometimes water won’t come out normally. Sometimes it drips when I let it go. Sometimes it works fine. Before it works fine though, water will come out real slow for a few seconds. It’s pretty frustrating especially when I’m thirsty. I removed the spigot cap to get to the line directly, and water doesn’t gush out. So its definitely NOT the spigot gasket, spring, or operation.
I shaked and hit the machine. Resetted it. No go. Also the air vent for the tank isn’t blocked.
Whats going on?
On the box of the Brita filter, it says that it’s normal in the first 2 filtered pitchers to have "carbon dust" on the top part of the filter. However, black specks always appear on the top section of the pitcher. Not only that, but very small black specks appear in the bottom part of the pitcher containing the filtered water. Should I dump the pitcher? If so, what could I be doing wrong? I only use cold water as it specifies.
The kitchen faucet is constantly dripping, only the cold water. What can I do?
I am talking about those small coolers (with red and blue tap) with hot and cold water taps used in small offices. Do these coolers entire functionality of a fridge , such as compressors, evaporators etc. ? Or these (cooling part) work on a totally different principle of cooling ?
I purchase a new kitchen faucet and while I was installing the supply hose to the cold water valve pipe I noticed that the fitting was stripped. Can I easily replace this or can I buy some type of adapter to test out and see if maybe the supply hose is at fault? I have plastic pipes, not copper.
I know the obvious answer is to trun the faucet handles and turn the water off, but it still seems to leak via small drips even after I turn the handles really tight. I had the same problem with my sink and I had to turn off the cold water from underneath the sink completely.
i dont have any water pressure in other rooms when running water in one room. you can run cold water in the bathroom and the hot water slows down and gets cold also. any ideas on what is going go.
The bathroom in my apartment has separate hot and cold faucets which make it very difficult to shave and wash your hands since you only get either piping hot or ice cold water. Is there any way to connect these without replacing the sink? I don’t want to invest too much money into a place I am renting.
the ge water dispenser’s heat works. the heated water works like usual. it’s light starts that means it heats up then it turns off. the cold water’s light doesn’t work and the water. the cold water switch on the back has to be turned on in order to work the water and light. even if we turn the switch it would would not make the water cold. the dispenser is 4 years old.
I recently had a Culligan System put into a house I bought to treat 6ppm Iron. This has worked for the Cold Water..but my Hot water still Stinks! I called RotoRooter and they told me I needed a new Water heater, and too confirm that they would charge a 195$ fee. The previous home owner replaced the Magnesium Rod with an Aluminum one. The water heater looks new. Could I get away with giving it a good flush? I have been using the heater with softened/deironized water for a week now and it still has not diluted in odor which I thought would happen after a while. Help!!!!!
Cold Water tested today negative for Sulfur. Unless theres Sulfur in Water heater from before water was treated.
I hate how the 2 faucets are placed apart and I only get either very hot or very cold water, not warm water.
My kitchen faucet leaks unless I tighten the cold water real tight then it stops leaking. I replaced the rubber ring at the end of the faucet but that did not work.
I want to know if I am adjusting the cold and hot water handles right. I am trying to get the right temperature for the warm water.
Is their a simple way to get the exact temperature?
The hot water handle is more screwed in then the cold water handle.
