I am researching everything I eat and drink for optimum health. I am now concerned about fluoride in my drinking water and also the effects it may have on our youth. Do you believe that drinking eight glasses of fluoridated water daily, which is often recommended, will suppress thyroid function?

I decided to lose some pounds and to go on an easy step, drinking water. I have been drinking a lot of water like in 3 weeks but i don’t see no results. Can you give me some advise?
I have a water softener in my house. Is there any sort of drinking water purifier (preferably a pitcher) that will filter out the salt from the soft water?
After i urinate, i keep on drinking water through out the nearly 2 hours. But after each time i pee, just 10-15 minutes later i need to pee again, and alot comes out too. I had 4 urges to pee 4 times total
I know 4 bottles is alot of water for 2 hours, but, still i see people who drink 2 bottles of water and dont need to go once in an hour.
I am not even sure where I got this information from or who even told me. Its just been a nagging question

I was at Lowes yesterday talking with the plumbing guy. He said a few things that remotely made sense, but I challenge what he said. I just want honest open opinions, and if someone knows better, please tell me.
I’m about to put new filter cartridges and a new RO (Reverse Osmosis) element. He told me there are better systems out now. OK, so I haven’t followed plumbing advances very well.
I’m thinking of putting a whole house filter BEFORE my water softener (not including the outside hose bibs). My mineral count is somewhere around 400 (had it tested a few years ago and I hope I remembered that correctly). The guy at Lowes said that my RO drinking water should also be before my water softener. Is that true? Since I’m planning on doing some work, what would be the best way to handle this?

The guy at Lowes made some statements about ultra pure water being acidic. He said that ultra pure water will dissolve copper pipes, brass, lots of different irons and such. While I suppose that a lack of minerals in water COULD leach minerals from copper, I think he was a bit over the top. If you know, please let me know. It won’t make any difference to how I handle my drinking water situation, but it’s always nice to know something for sure.
I get my first session at the gym this Thursday, and as part of trying to lose weight, i want to start eating and drinking healthily.
But the thing is, i drink fizzy things, because i really dislike drinking water, it makes my throat feel funny and i just dont like it.
I hate drinking water and have bad skin. Would drinking water with things like lemon juice and sugar(lemonade) in it count towards my daily cups of water i should intake? I mean it is mostly water just few spoons of lemon juice and few spoons of sugar.
I have a large Tide container with a spout that I would like to use for drinking water on camping trips, etc. How would I clean it out safely? If not, I’m assuming it would be safe to use only for washing hands when camping? Thanks!
