My son is a few days away from being 3 months old and since the day he came home from the hospital I have been using nursery water to mix with his formula. I was just wondering which is best: tap, spring or nursery water? Thanks for the responses!

I have noticed recently that for a few days when I take a shower soap would rinse off alot easier then it used to and now it doesn’t rinse it off easily at all. So I would assume there is something wrong with the water softener. Is there anything that I can check on the water softener to see if it is running correctly, I know the landlord changed the salt or whatever you put in it recently.

I have a Pur facet mount and took the filter out only to realize I didn’t have another one. The idea was to keep it in for a few days until I got another one… that was over a month ago.
the water seems fine, what effects or how much impurities could i be consuming… or do you think it’s fine.

I just recently bought a Brita water filter. It says to discard any unused water after a few days. If I pour it into jugs and cap them, will the water be good to drink after a few weeks or is it only referring to the water in the pitcher?

The fish tank is about 10 or 20 gallons and I have a filter that is plenty big enough and holds two filter cartridges. I use the anti-cloudy drops and the anti algae drops but it always goes cloudy after a few days. Could it possibly be the fish food?

I’ve noticed my 8 month old baby’s stomach has been upset the last few days and the only thing that I have done differently was that I used dasani bottled water to mix his formula with. I read on the ingredients that its a mix of purified water, potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate and salt, and I think that might be why! Has anyone else ever had this problem.

I have tried everything to get rid of this algae in my tank, fish, aqua pure filter, use only RO water, light on only 8 hours a day. Only thing left that i heard could work is shutting the lights down for a few days. Will this help, and would it harm my anenome?

I wash it regularly and have even used some bleach to try and minimize the algae. If I continually keep water in it, the bottom of the pitcher becomes covered in algae in a few days!
We keep the water at room temperature on the counter.
Thank you in advance!

We live out in the county and have well water. The past few days our water has had a very bad sulfur smell. We have a water treatment system in the house that pulls out the iron and other metals and gets rid of the sulfur smell. But the smell has been coming through the last few days. The odd part is when I go outside the air smells the same as the water. Once you get to the end of the driveway you can’t smell it anymore. What is causing this? How can I fix it?

I had to cut my water on and off for a few days b/c the water has been running inside the water heater. It seems like the water problem was coming from the bath tub. I had to replace the shower and the bath knobs for it to stop running. Now I am getting cold water due to this problem. How do I get the hot water to work again after cutting it on and off?

Could it be our new water tank? I would have thought the shower filter would have taken care of that. Every time I shampoo and dry, my hair on top is stick and oily-looking and it looks like I’ve gone a few days without washing. Can anyone suggest anything other than changing shampoos/hair dryers? I just moved across town and this didn’t happen at my other place, so it’s not the city water…

My filter on my refrigerator is broken and I have to drink tap water for a few days. I have to drink 8+ glasses of water a day because of my heart problems. Will tap water make me hydrated just as much as filtered water does?

Conservatives like to complain about the government "taxing and spending" but they never seem to complain about having clean water, paved roads, quality public education, and powerful military to defend their freedom, which are all benefits of Socialism.
For those opposed to Socialism, go without clean water for a few days and then get back to me.
