Can filtered water be put in a fish tank?
I am buying some guppies but i need to know if filtered water, like out of the fridge, would be ok to put in the tank.

I have an in-the-door water filter that I use all the time to get fresh filtered water from. HOwever now, after a power-outage,the water no longer comes out in a stream, but instead is a trickle of water. It takes about 2-3 times longer to get a glass of water.
So why is this happening now? I never had the problem before the outage and I’ve been using it for about a year now.
My Kitchen faucet sprayer has not worked correctly since I installed it 6 months ago. Moen says the diverter valve needs replacing. They sent it to me but how do I open it up and replace it?
It is a single handle with a built in small filtered water spout under the main outlet.
…actual filter or by time. I use mostly bottled water (Poland Spring) but for cooking and occasionally for mixing other things I use the filtered water. The filters I buy are supposed to last through 100 gallons of water; then it says "2-3 months" in parentheses. The thing is, there is NO WAY I put even near 100 gallons of water through that thing before the red light comes on, telling me it’s time to change it – and it always comes on about 2-3 months after I change it. Does anyone know how the timer works?
Thanks!
I bought a water softener pillow for my tank, but now that I’ve opened it I realized that it’s really big and doesn’t fit in my filter. Would clipping it to the tank where the filtered water comes out do?
I bought it at a PetCo two days ago, and the employee there recommended it to me. He said he had a lot of tanks so I felt he knew what he was talking about.
…water output no longer filtered?
I use the PUR filters in my refrigerator and on my kitchen tap for water. The indicator lights will change from green to red in 45-60 days after a filter replacement, but the water will keep flowing for another 60-90 days before the filter completely clogs up, and then I have to replace the filter. During the period when the light is red, is the water still being purified? My guess is that it is.
I use a similar filter system when I go hiking, and the instruction manual states that the filter will only output clean filtered water and can be used up until it is completely clogged. But the data on the home filters only say to replace the filter immediately after the light goes red. I think they just want to sell more filters.
I have this kind of water filter on my kitchen sink:

There is a switch to change it from tap water to the filtered water. Is this okay for my cat(the filtered water)? Or should I give him bottled water? Thanks!
It has a 4 year warranty, but I think I threw out the papers! I would really like it fixed and cannot find any info on the web. The digital light/ gallons filtered reading no longer lights up. I only used about 20 gallons of filtered water with this unit, so I’m dissappointed. Anyone have experience in fixing this type of unit?
I have been using nursery water to mix my babies formula. He is now 4.5 months old. We have a pur water filter on our sink. Is it ok at this point to begin using filtered water, or must we continue with the nursery water?
Spring water flows from the ground like 24/7 and so does an artesian well.
So I’m confused about why it’s different.
Are they both healthier to drink than regular filtered water? Or bottled water?
If so, why? I’ve been using a Pur water filter for a few years. I’ve never had a cavity in life, but the other day when I was at the dentist, he said that I have an area of decay in my mouth that could lead to cavities. I have to get the teeth bonded. I’ve always taken good care of my teeth – the only thing that’s changed is I’ve been drinking filtered water. I drink a lot of water, so this could have an impact if there is no flouride in the filtered water. Why is it supposed to be harmful, or do they just do it for the taste? I know there is a link to infertility and large amounts of flouride though I think infertility could be a good thing in our society. Anyway, could that make a difference, if flouride is filtered out?
I have a MultiPure under the sink filter system that had a new filter replaced a year ago. The filter is supposed to last through about 750 gallons of water (or something around there). Either way, I have used it for less than half that amount in the past year. The manufacturer says to replace the filter yearly, but they are expensive considering I don’t use that much filtered water. (It was installed by the previous owners.)
Is it still safe to use filtered water through the existing filter until I really need to change it? Will it cause any harm?
Thanks for any help.
I’m looking for a site that has ratings for different Acai Juices.
Monavie will not disclose the amount of Acai in it’s product. Other non-mlm producers will. Monavie must have something to hide.
I know that VitaminLife.com has:
NOW Acai Concentrate for .59/32oz.
Ingedients: Acai Juice, Triple Filtered Water,Blueberry Juice Concentrate, Raspberry Juice Concentrate,Pomegranate Juice Concentrate, Citric Acid, Natural Flavor and Potassium Sorbate (as a preservative).
NOW® Acai Juice has a refreshing berry taste, offering 6,500 mg of Acai concentrate per 1 oz. serving.
and
Acai100 by Genesis Today for .89/32oz.
100% PURE wild harvested ACAI Berry Juice! No added fruit juices, sweeteners, sugars, preservatives, water or anything!
30,000 mg of pure Acai Berry Juice in every 1 fl. oz. serving
These are a few of the products I’m considering although I am still looking for a site that compares and rates all the different Acai Juices. If you find this info please post it here

I have finished my research and decided against the above products. The Acai 100 is made from the skin, pulp and pit of the berry. The pit has no nutritive value and comprises over 90% of the Acai Berry. This means that over 90% of Acai100 is from the pit and has no value. The Acai juice from NOW is made from freeze dried skin and pulp, but it is blended with other juices. It has more Acai than Monavie, which also uses the pit, but it is not what I am looking for. There is no juice on the market that suits my needs, i.e. 100% Acai made from only the skin and pulp of the berry. I have concluded that a powder made from the freeze-dried puree of the skin and pulp is the only acceptable product . There are many powders available but my research has shown that only one product meets my criteria and is available at a reasonable price. There is a link to their website here: www.herod.biz
After buying some, I find that it has everything I’m looking for.
Thanks……Mike
