i have a septic in the front of my house with a leetch field i want to know can i put a water softner and will it damage my septic or the grass above the leetch field

Under Texas law for renters should i have to pay for someone to come out and change the filters for a water softener and water purifier? Am i responsible for changing the filters under the sink and in the garage at all? Or is it the owner that has this responsibility? Isnt this considered an appliance?? This is not a run of the mill walmart filter you can just stick on there.. its pricey culligan system installed under the sink and in in the garage. One more question> do renters have to water the lawn? The grass is green and its kept up but the owner is wanting it watered… are renters really responsible for the watering of the lawn?

We have well water and would like to hook up a water softner for the household water, but where we would like to set it up is in the pump house and that would be hooking it toall of our water system, including our yard, can water from a water softener hurt our grass and plants

They have it diverted now but my grass is dead/dying. Big brown patches. The water logged ground is finally drying out and I want to know how I can repair the damage. I live in Florida.

This is hard to explain but the liquid from the water sofener is coming out of the house from a pvc pipe into the lawn, causing an abover ground drainage river. I would like to drain this water underground and grow grass over it but don’t know how to connect another pipe to the pvc and bring it underground. It is an eye sore for the lawn and I would appreciate any help.

We have a house with a grassy backyard that grows right up to the edge of the house. We keep grass well maintained- short. Sprinkler water & rain water run towards the house and get the walls very wet and is leaving a green water stain on the wall (stucco). Is this something to be concerned about? Will it cause termite problems? mold? What can be done? Get rid of the grass? Put down concrete? Re- level the entire yard to slope away from the house? Who do I contact to evaluate the situation? Landscaper or gardener?

We have hard water where I live, so we have installed a water softener. Should I bypass the softener when I water my grass. I know the water contains salt, but is it enough to kill the grass or harm the environment?

I am considering having a water well drilled to use for watering a new lawn I am planning to start this fall. The cost for drilling the well and installing the pump and running electricity to the pump was quoted at almost 00. Aside from this initial up front costs, what regualar maintenance costs should I anticipate. I have a neighbor who said he considered a well, but the upkeep on it turned him away. He mentioned the water needing to be treated, wells closing up and needing to be cleared out, etc. I watered my grass a lot this summer and the water big was quite expensive, but I don’t want to trade one big expense for another. I’m mainly getting the well to save money because we already have city water service.
