I am looking to find a water filter that uses reverse osmosis, alkaline filtration, and UV sterilization all in one system that can be installed for use with my kitchen sink tap water.
Do you know of any water filters that fit this description?

My kitchen sink currently has a hot & a cold knob, and a spout…pretty old fashioned. I want to go and get an up to date faucet with a single lever valve and a detachable spout to rinse dishes, etc. but have never installed one before. What do I do?

We’re trying to switch out our kitchen faucet, but cannot get the hot water to stop coming from the faucet. We’ve turned the water off at the main source and under the kitchen sink. Does anyone know why hot water is still coming from the faucet and how to stop it?

When i turn the shower on, the water continues to pour from the faucet (there is still good water pressure coming from the shower though) is there something i can do to fix this? Also, the kitchen sink does it with the sprayer, but the sprayer has hardly any water pressure at all making it pretty useless. We just moved into this house and we’re just trying to fix all the minor inconveniences. Thanks!
ok it’s not the SINK faucet the SAME faucet that is in the shower!

I have replaced the stems in both hot and cold sides of kitchen sink. They are turned off, yet when the shower or stool are used the water comes out of the faucet in a steady stream. As soon as the shower or stool shuts off so does the flow in the kitchen sink. HELP!!!

My shower is white (not tile, but something like plastic), and I’ve begun to notice that certain places where water lays for awhile are turning pink. I’ve also noticed this on the inside of my dishwasher (which is off-white plastic), and on the rim of the nozzel of my sprayer at the kitchen sink. What is it in the water that causes this? Is my water still safe to drink?

I have to turn off the water under my kitchen sink, but the valves connecting to hot and cold are stuck. I can’t get them to budge, and I don’t own a wrench. (I am female, live alone (not that it should matter). Anyway, any help is greatly appreciated. I would like to try and fix this leaky faucet myself.:)
Thanks, H8, but the valves under the sink are the problem. They are stuck, and I can’t get them to turn to get the water off.

I am trying to install a water filter on my kitchen sink but to do so I have to take the faucet head off. It is stuck on there pretty good and I have tried to twist if off to the point that my hands are hurting. Any advice of how to get the head to come off?

I would like to clean or lubricate my kitchen sink faucet so that it can move left to right more easily. Do I have to take it apart to do this? What cleaning products or lubricants should be used?
I rent the apartment so I can’t get a new faucet. I would only like to clean or lubricate the faucet.
Corky is on the right track. It’s a single handled unit where the faucet part comes out with a hose attached, and you can switch between many small streams of water or one big stream. I forget the manufacturer but it is probably delta or moen.

I just paid 5 to have a new faucet installed in my kitchen sink. Is this an average price or was I ripped off?
