Lately I’ve been feeling very sluggish and wanting to sleep a lot. Then it hit me that I’ve been drinking more soda and juice than water. I used to drink a lot of water but lately I’ve just been drinking about one water bottle a day and the rest is other drinks. I know that’s bad but will drinking 2 liters of water a day really bring up my energy levels?

I’ve heard people say that this has happened before…
Can people die by eating a lot of carbohydrates, for example bread, and then drinking a lot of water?
The theory behind this is that as you drink water, the carbohydrates in your stomach will expand to a point where your stomach will split open.
Just curious.

If you’re a person who didn’t drink a lot of water, and then you started drinking more water, what changes did you notice? Besides just feeling healthy, be specific. What actually changed?

Okay, so the water in my apartment is kind of weird tasting (it’s Philadelphia water, so that may be why) and I was looking for some way to make it taste better because I do drink a lot of water but it isn’t exactly cheap to be buying bottled water every week. Would a Brita filter make the water taste better, or is it ineffective as far as removing odd flavors from water? Also, which is better the PUR filter or the Brita filter? (If filters such as these don’t work, what can I do to make the water taste better?)
Eh, I think that would only mask it. Besides, I prefer just plain ice-cold water.
I have tried making tea and hot chocolate with the water and it still tastes funky anyway, so I think I would still be able to taste it even with those packets.

When we go to the pet/fish store, we often bombardired with a lot of water test like amonia test, ph test, etc etc.
Aren’t they are all necessary?
I decide to use one water-strip test for my fresh-water fish safety. But which one from those tests you recommend?
Which one the most important water test for fish?

Currently I’m using the Pur 2-stage filter for pitchers and I am very satisfied with the taste and quality of the water after filtering. I don’t mind the price of the filters and it works well for me.
However, my boyfriend has a problem with how frequently the pitcher has to be refilled. He also doesn’t refill it when he does drink water so I end up having to refill it before I can have any water when I get home from work.
I guess I’m just wondering if it’d be worth it to switch to a faucet-mounted filter. It seems more expensive, but I don’t know how long the filter would last. I’d discourage use for anything besides drinking water, but we do drink a lot of water.
What do you guys think? Also, I’ll be sticking with Pur regardless of how I go.

I know that we’re supposed to drink a lot of water each day… and I know this is pretty stupid, but why? What are the benefits? I’m not thinking about stopping drinking water… I’m just curious.

Is a continuous, ingestion of clean drinking, mineral or purified drinking water of 1 liter and above enough to stop all illnesses? I understand that drinking a lot of water cleans out the toxins in your body, and replenishes you. But I want more information. Thanks guys.

I have an outdoor faucet to connect the hose to for summer watering. I loose a lot of water through the joint. Though i made sure that the connection/threading is really tight i still loose a lot of water. Can someone suggest how to fix this leak. Is there a washer or tape needed for the faucet-hose joint. I have similar problem with my front yard outdoor faucet-hose joint.

Will drinking 8 glasses of water a day help with weight loss and acne?
A few years ago my mom asked the dermatologist if drinking water will help acne and the doctor said no, it doesn’t play any roll. I always thought it did?

Say someone had to detox so they were drinking a lot of water. Would adding metamucil make this method any less effective?
thanks i just didn’t know if it would be like soda which dehydrates you and slows down the process. also… i’m prescribed adderall, will this have any effect on detox?

I feel really dehydrated.Thing is before I felt like this I have been drinking water by the gallions.Can drinking to much water actually dehydrate you more?Also my Ex called me and said our son was feeling a little dry.He has also been drinking a lot of water.

I started drinking whey protein shakes in the morning and post-workout and I feel incredibly bloated…
