I will be headed to that area soon and my mom says that the water is too cold to swim in. Is this true? How does the water compare to the water in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Florida?
They’re kinda small so I’d guess theyre maybe a few months old, I want to put them in a tank, but my mom wont let me since she thinks theyre gunna die, but im gunna get a tank anyway. Any suggestions on the size of the tank and also the brand of filters, heat lamp, UV light, water heater etc. Am i also missing anything that i might need for the turtle aquarium?
Every time I see my mom, she brings tap water from her house to give to me, as I like her water better than the tap water here or at the store. She puts it in empty water bottles, obviously, but I can’t store the water too long in there or it tastes like the bottle, which is gross. Does anyone have an idea how I can store the water for a while without it getting that bottle taste?
Whole Question: Is it true that if you freeze water bottles toxins in the plastic get released because the bottle expands, thus contaminating your water? I just wanna know cuz my mom always not to freeze bottles
It feels so foreign to me to drink water straight from my kitchen faucet. My mom boils AND filters our water every day. I am having trouble getting my 8 glasses a day because the fridge I have at home does not have the water part and I use to have that in my old house and I use to drink like almost 2 gallons a day. My skin was perfect and I had an easier time maintaining my weight. Now that I don’t have that fridge, I probably drink 2-3 glasses of pure water a day! is it okay if I start drinking from the tap? My skin is still clear mostly but I have small blemishes and it just does not glow the same, and my weight has fluctuated. Let me know. The water website for my county goes over the filtration system and its pretty impressive but I am so unsure since I was not raised to drink water this way.
I always drink that Dasani flavored water that’s sweetened with Splenda, then my mom pointed it out to me and said that might be why I feel lightheaded sometimes. I looked it up online, and the overall answer seemed to be a ‘it’s probably bad for you, but there’s no official proof.’
Can anyone recommend flavored water that isn’t sweetened with Splenda or sucralose? I’m trying to eat/drink healthier and stay away from caffeine and other stuff, lol.
I will be getting roomates and my mom and I need to get a bazillion water spots off my shower. We have tried 409, lemon juice, you name it. Is there a cleaner or tecnique we can use? Also, if you have any tips for cleaning out my bathroom really fast, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
My mom says that, because my hair hasn’t grown since last year and that’s maybe because I don’t drink enough water. I also wash, shampoo and condition my hair every day, but it’s still short. Does drinking water help?
I get itchy scalp and skin from my water and so does my husband. When I take a shower at my mom’s house or when we go out of town, my scalp does not itch even if I use the same shampoo. It’s got to be because of my water. I have fine thin chemically damaged hair too so I’m scared the water is keeping it from ever getting any healthier and growing. Please any suggestions or websites would be appreciated.

i love dasani water but my mom doesnt buy it that much.mostly water like crystal springs and other they taste so different from dasani.i kinda makes me sick when i first start drinking it

I live in Central TX where it rarely freezes. When it does, I have heard that water needs to be dripping from a faucet to avoid the pipes freezing. My mom told me that she heard it didnt need to be done. Any suggestions? To drip or not to drip? Do outside faucets need to be covered?
I am sure that water can be heated, but I’m not sure about the others.
