I work for Nestle waters north america. We own many brand names. Arrow Head, Deer park, Poland Spring, San Pelogrino, etc. My job is pretty much to watch over my delivery drivers and wear them out. The faster they get the job done the better for my bonus. My problem is, I have this old delivery driver who hass been with us for 20 years and is really slow compared to the new, fresh, and strong employees. the job is pretty much delivery the big bottles of water from one house or business to the next. PLus, the new guys get paid half of my old guy. I know it’s against the law to fire him for his age. How can I get him to quit or set him up to fail so I can legally fire him? I don’t care about his life. I’m all about profits and my bonus
that’s the problem. He’s incapable of keeping up with the young guys. the are new and not beat up yet. I’m sure 20 years of pounding the pavement has wore out his joints. Should I feel bad for him? Is it all about business. We deserve the money more than the guys who actually do the labor. Management is the key to success and we shoudl get paid all the money right?
heartless and immoral? Please, we are about profits and making our company grow. We can easily replace the grunts. why is it our responsibility to care for our employees. we paid him for his time. NOw he is no value to us anymore. He shoudl get paid less than the new fresh guys.

What bottled water should I buy to limit my fluoride exposure? Are they all the same?
Poland Spring?
Aquafina?
Dasani?
Store Brand Spring water?
Any other?
Hey awesome job with the criticism, look at the facts my friend it’s not good to ingest fluoride at high levels, I thinks the Nazis figured out it made the concentration camp victims into docile sheep. While fluoride is good for teeth, I’m pretty sure the only teeth are in my mouth, so I’ll put fluoride on in the form of toothpaste not in my stomach in the form of tap water. "baaaaaaaaaaaah"

Not only does it tastes better, it’s healthier for you too! For example, natural spring water (Poland Spring) vs purified water (Dasani), organic vs non-organic foods, etc.

i’m talking bottled water that doesn’t have a label like poland spring or dasani. I’m talking about bottled water labled like spring water from a shop like stop and shop or else.
And does the plastic have anything to do with it even the water itself is proven clean?
thx.

For those of you that don’t know, Dasani is purified water whereas Poland Spring is natural spring water. Purified water is basically filtered municipal water, whereas natural spring water is found in springs and filtered naturally. With that said, which do you prefer and why?

Lately I’ve been drinking Poland Spring bottled water, but it tends to taste somewhat filmy if you ask me. I find Nestle bottled water to taste like tap water and is kind of gross. Dasani also has a filminess to it in my opinion.
So anyway, what is the BEST tasting bottled water you have ever had? Including glass and plastic bottles. (Not flavored water)

About half of the time I drink Bottled water it has a plastic flavor to it. I’ve tried different brands (poland spring, etc)
I’m sure they dont leavee the factory tasting like plastic. Somewhere along the delivery route they must sit out in the hot sun or something. Sometimes they taste clean and pure, but sometimes the same brand will taste like plastic.

I work for neste waters. A big water company in the usa. They own arrowhead, ice mountain, deer park, poland spring, etc. i delivery water products to businesses and homes. My salary is based on a teams performence. For example: three peope may share a ten mile radius of customers. The total number of bottles delivered is split between us three and thats how we get paid. But our route is not equal. One guy might deliver less bottles than the other guy. Another guy might deliver more stops with customers who require him to travel all around the building to deliver two bottles. Basically really unfair and how can a company get away with this? I assume this is illegal. I know employees with the same job as me sued the company and now they r hourly paid. But in texas we still get paid team based salary. Should i go to a corporate lawyer? I live in texas and maybe the laws are different here.
In all honesty i’m too old and beat up to switch jobs and companies. I understand when you say the company would of checked to see if this was legal. But out in the east coast the employees sued the company and won. NOw they are hourly pay. But i’m unsure why we in texas are still team based?

I have read that the Eco-Friendly water bottles from Poland Spring uses plastic #1, which do not contain BPA, but from the past 3 bottles that I drank from, it had this weird smell. I’m not sure if it was the smell of plastic, but it definitely has a smell.

Okay, if they really don’t have BPA in them, how can the smell be explained? I’ve read from somewhere that if it smells like plastic, then it has BPA in it…
