How can i make a homemade water filter?

its for science class and shouldn’t be that complicated. it has to filter water in under an hour. we have to get all the stones, mud, debris, and preferably bacteria out of the water because we are supposed to drink the water after we’ve used our filter
it has to be inside one of those big pop bottles

Right now in my Science class, we’re doing a lab on how the water temperature affects the cellular respiration rate of goldfish. My hypothesis is that as the water temperature increases, the cellular respiration rate will increase. Is there a good reason for this? I mean, we need to know some background information or scientific concepts supporting our hypothesis, and I wasn’t sure what to say. Why does the respiration rate increase as the temperature increases? Does it have something to do with how fish are cold-blooded?

For our science class we must heat water inside of a 500ml water bottle just 15 degrees. The only things we can do is use chemical reactions, or create and fire reactions of some sort. Any ideas on how I could heat it?
I was thinking about using the sun, but how any ideas?

This question is for my Science class. I already know that a drainage basin acts like a funnel, collecting all the water within the area covered by the basin and channeling it into a waterway. My answer would be that it could transfer water from rivers, lakes, seas and ocean to wherever water is needed. Anything else? And how could it be managed to protect aquatic life?

How do I make a water purification system?

I need to make one for Science class, with only materials that are usually found at home. I cannot add chemicals to the treatment process. No one is going to be drinking the water. The purification system should be able to remove garbage (leaves, rocks, wrappers) and clean the colour of the water, somewhat, so that the end product is a beaker of water that has no garbage in it, and somewhat clear. Like I said before, no chemicals, and no one is going to be drinking it.
