I’m doing a science fair project that tests the PH, alkalinity, chlorine content, hardness, iron, copper, nitrate, and nitrite of Evian, Dasani, natural spring water, and tap water. I used a water test kit to test them. Is there a site that I can find people who have done it before?

I am doing a science fair project where I am testing how truly clean different brands of bottled water are and I’m comparing the amount of residue and whatnot left behind, and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions about how to best evaporate the water? Thank you.

My daughter is doing a science fair project on which type of water is best for growing plants. We have filtered water from the tap, rain water, and microwaved distilled water. We have access to well water, but family members have forgotten to send us some, and time is starting to run out. Can mineral water, (like Perrier) be substituted for well water? Do they have the same or similar properties?

My daughter is doing a science fair project involving steel and galvanized nails. The galvanized nails in the distilled water are turning white after only 2 days. We are also using salt water, melted snow, tap water (ours happens to be from a well). If distilled water is purer than the others why is only the distilled causing a reaction?

i was going to do a science fair project where i compare 6 different brands of spring water bottles and see if there was a difference in total/ free chlorine, total Alkalinity, total hardness, and pH levels. Is this project idea to simple for a high school science fair?
