Does anybody here use a shower filter?
Does anybody use a shower filter? If so, did you notice a difference in your hair and skin when you started using it?
Is it worth the money?

All showerheads in Japan are handheld, so I can’t use my regular filter back home. Therefore, I’d like to know if an American handheld shower filter will be compatible in Japan.

Hi! I’m looking for the best affordable shower filter. The thing is, I lived in LA for a while now but I think my new place isn’t too clean. I recently moved to my current place and my body starts itching so I’m thinking it might be the water…so, where do I look for a good shower filter? Online or Offline? And where? Please help me. I need it ASAP. Thanks!
The water in LA is crazy and it’s not easy finding a suitable place…
I live in NYC and was thinking about getting a shower filter.
Would this have a positive or negative effect on my light acne?
Thanks.
I just moved into a new apartment and water here is EXTREMELY hard. It’s so hard that my skin hurts. My skin’s peeling off (this used only happen during the winter months…) My hands are constantly red just because I wash them like everybody else. My skin is cracking like crazy, too. I didn’t have this problem before I moved in. I’m currently combatting this problem with loads of moisturizers, but this water problem is killing my rosacea ridden skin…
Will a shower filter (Aquasana is the brand I’m considering) solve my hard water problem?
I live in an apartment… so how will I ever add a water softener?

I heard that chlorine is toxic on our skin and I was wondering if there was a not so expensive shower filter that really gets out 100% of the chlorine?
I suffer from eczema. I want to add a shower filter at home to remove chlorine, magnesium, calcium and other minerals. (I live in a rented apartment, so I can’t make major modifications to the plumbing.) Which type or brand of shower filter do you recommend? There are so many websites out there each touting their own brand of filter and it’s hard to know which ones really work.
I heard about the harsh chlorine in the water that negatively affects the texture of the hair and skin.
Is this true and will a filter in the shower improve the quality of my skin and hair?
What are the pro’s and con’s of having a shower filter?
I have a private well system here in Wasilla, AK and I am not happy with the water quality. I used a shower filter to remove chlorine etc when I lived in California but that is not the problem now. The water causes dry skin, tastes horrible and seems to have a lot of calcium and iron in it. I had some tests done and was offered a Water conditioner that uses polymer beads and a seperate system that uses reverse osmosis to filter and soften all of the water in the house. This will cost around 00 is that the best way to go or does anyone know of a better option? I do want to filter all of the water in the house for drinking, cooking, bathing laundry etc. Are there certain things I need to leave in the water for health reasons? Is it ok to strip the water of as many minerals etc as I can?
I am in Baghdad Iraq and the water that we use has so much chlorine in it that many folks are losing hair and or their hair is breaking. I have used a shower filter but it doesn’t last the 6 months it is supposed to and only lasts about 5 weeks. Does anyone know of a seriously good shower filter that would help save my hair?
I want to buy a shower filter (a filter with a shower head attached, that attaches to ones shower like a normal shower head). Where is the best deal? What is the best product? Do they really work? Where should I buy?
