What is the difference between spring water and mineral water?

my local store only had spring water in the 2.5 gallon jugs. i can use spring water instead of distilled water? this is for my BC14 saltwater tank. will i have trouble with reefs in the future with using spring water? can i treat the spring water?

Why are people so up in arms over Dasani Water? When it was first marketed & to this day they said it was just purified water, not spring water, or mineral water. Are people so upset because they themselves neglected to read the bottle or because they were not listening when the commercials were run when the ad said “purified tap water”.
I dont’ think their is dishonesty in thier marketing. I understood from the jump. Yes you can buy a filter & get it from tap but I didn’t want to & they do it for me. It just seems a lot of ppl are upset when all they had to do was read the label and LISTEN to the ad. Going forward they don’t have to buy the product.

I have been told that drinking Distilled Water is not good for me, long term. I thought Distilled water was PURE H2O.
How can it be bad for me?

Does anyone know the differences between "drinking water" or "distilled" water , or "spring water", and their respective properties? You see them all in stores for sale.

Note, I need scientific answers. For instance, I know the basic differences in each sample I mentioned, for example, drinking water might have minerals added for ‘taste’..

I am curious if a certain "water" is actually better for you than another. To me Distilled Water would be the best choice since it is PURE water?

Anyone have good information on this?

You know in Walmart how you can refill water containers. How is the water? Is it good? Better than bottle spring water from local sources?

There is this park in the middle of my little town.

It is in Stockholm, Sweden, in the suburbs. We usually go there when it’s warm weather in gymnastic in school.

Most of my class takes their bottles and fills it up from the spring water. The water runs out and into a big lake. I don’t know where it begins.

But what I’m wondering, is that is it bad to drink spring water?

To have my Triops be born, what kind of water should I use? And should I change it with a different. I heard somewhere to start out with distilled water and make my way over to spring water? Is this true? What should I do ?

I know at 6 months you should use the nursery water, since it has added flouride, but the other types confuse me. Which is the best for baby?

I recently cleaned out and changed the water in our goldfish tank. Normally I use spring water in the tank, but last night I filled it with city tap water. I had heard that if that water is left to sit for about 24 hours before the fish are added that the chlorine will be gone enough to be safe for the fish. Is this true? How lond should I wait until I put the goldfish back in?

A few years ago a guy told me about a source of spring water not too far from NYC but I forgot where. He said that the site is EPA approved and that people fill their own bottles there.I lost touch with the guy so I can’t ask him where it is. I tries web searches and came up with zilch. I emailed the EPA but only got a generic reply so I’m still looking. Please try to reply with with ACTUAL locations if possible. Thanks.
