It’s an LEC L555WS, was given it by a friend of a friend who was moving. The slot at the top/back inside is blowing cold air so I assume the fan is ok, and it always seems to be "on" ie it never goes quiet. I’ve tried it at the lowest setting but no difference, and turned it off for 24hrs and restarted it. Strangely milk and orange juice, plus ketchup etc are not freezing(but seriously teeth numbingly cold)
Any suggestions- I think it could be the thermostat, a new one is £16, any tips on fitting it, quite ok at DIY and mechanics…(so he thinks…!)
What you think about the elite in this country poisoning every American, with fluoridated water? The idea to put fluoride in water in America ,came when top former Nazi mind control scientists were brought to America by the CIA ,in their infamous ‘Operation Paper Clip’.Fluoridated water was given to prisoners of Nazi concentration camps, to make prisoners passive and less willing to resist. The elite in this country are now using this on the American people Repeated doses of infinitesimal amounts of fluoride will in time reduce an individuals power to resist domination, by slowly poisoning and narcotizing a certain area of the brain, thus making them submissive to the will of those who wish to govern them. The real reason behind water fluoridation is not to benefit teeth. If this were the real reason there are many ways in which it could be done that are much easier, cheaper, and far more effective. The real purpose behind water fluoridation is to reduce the resistance of the masses to domination and control and loss of liberty. It’s mass mind control to make the American people submissive sheeple.

I heard that fluoride is really bad, especially for children. The reason for fluoride is to make stronger teeth. And that the dental professionals don’t have a say against it.
What do you think? Also, if fluoride is needed to maintain strong teeth then what is there that’s causing weak teeth? I grew up in a country where we drank water from streams and rivers and my teeth are strong. There are some in-perfections because brushing was near none.
This is easily one of those "profit over science" propagandas that the people are paying for it. I don’t see companies are hurry up to find another form of tooth strengthen solution. It will slowly surface, just like the tobacco lie.
I have well water. My daughter is one and she has seven teeth. I buy bottled water, and can’t find any with fluoride in it. I know that there are fluoride drops I can put in her bottles, but I am concerned with how this may affect her and if it will cause any harm. What will happen if I don’t use fluoride? What should I do?
I had asked a similar question some days ago and am still stressing about this so I wanted to ask again to get some different input. I am so worried about my baby’s teeth from using this kind of water….is it GOOD or is it BAD? My pediatrician told me to use it and so did nurses at the hospital. Baby is 3 weeks old.
Yes, nursery water….
We are going to close on a house in 13 days (our first home), and last weekend we purchased a fridge. The fridge that is in the home now (not staying) is a traditional fridge with a top freezer. Simple, traditional, blah.
The one we purchased is a side-by-side with a water filter in the door. Fancy!
The question is this: now that we have to install a waterline to the fridge, ss this something we can do/ask the talented father-in-law to do, or should we just grit our teeth and hire a pro?
Obviously hiring a professional would be easiest, but if installing it ourselves is a possibility and will save us money, it’s well worth it.
I use Tom’s of Maine Whole Care Natural toothpaste with fluoride and I was wondering if using a fluoride mouthwash, like ACT, is more effective at streghtening your teeth and preventing cavities than a fluoride toothpaste. Should I stick with my toothpaste, go with the mouthwash, or stay away from fluoride all together?
If you have seen a few documentaries you will know that fluoride is poison and they put it in our water with the excuse it would be to protect our teeth… there are a few documentaries and organized groups in the world to get the fluoride out of the water we are drinking…. yet is still not happening…
Are there any products or filters in the market that we can buy to filter the fluoride???
What can we do to get the government to action pure clean water free from fluoride?
So James you should just give at least a hint of what you mean, share it out
This issue has hit a lot of controversy in my local area as until very recently we didn’t have fluoridated water. I want to hear both sides of the argument – and all shades in between.
Two points I already know of are:
1. That we aren’t/haven’t been given a choice in the matter
2. Our kids teeth tend to rot without fluoride
How stupid can people be? I suppose soda and fruit juices are a much better choice of beverage for your kids. Doesn’t anyone realize that if your kids are brushing their teeth everyday with a fluoride toothpaste that they’re getting plenty of daily decay protection. I would rather give my kids bottled water, then the stuff coming out of the faucet, god only knows what could be in that. I suppose I could just attached water filters at every sink in the house.
my pediatrician recommended using fluoridated water to make my formula for my baby. I have been doing research and I am coming across info that I don’t like…..it says that too much fluoride causes problems with their teeth…fluorisis…which make spots and streaks on the teeth…….anyone have any input on this??????
baby is newborn (couple weeks)
I hate drinking tap.
It taste dirty or maybe it’s just all in my head..
I know it’s good for your teeth but is that all?
And does purified bottled water have any benefits?
I heard that at least 60% of all water companies in America put fluoride in tap water to help with teeth strength, and I know that bottled water doesn’t have any fluoride in it so it’s not as good for your teeth. But my question is:
Does filtered water, like though a Brita filter, still have fluoride in it, or does the filter take that out as well?
Water, especially clean and pure water is something that most of us probably take for granted. In the good old days of the distant past, most people could just drink tap water without any worries of any contamination. Nowadays, it is a completely different story. Having a good water filter for your home and for your drinking water is essential, unless, of course, you buy bottled water for all of your drinking water needs.
There is plenty to be concerned about when it comes to drinking water and the contaminants found in most tap water.
There is bacteria, strains of antibiotics, fluoride, chlorine, lead and other heavy metals and sometimes benzine and other harmful materials.
When looking at various makes and models of under the counter and counter top water filters, check to see exactly what they do and do not eliminate. Some remove only the heavy metals but do not remove other toxins that require a more sophisticated method of filtration, such as reverse osmosis.
Out of all of the water filters, there are only certain ones made for home use that actually remove all of the pathogens and chemicals such as fluoride and arsenic. Many of the other filters leave these toxins in the water even after it's been filtered.
It is very important to get the best possible water filter that will provide you with truly pure drinking water with the least amount of contamination and impurities possible.
Some refrigerators have water filters that are built right into the door. Some of these work well but most do not eliminate all of the chemicals from your water.
Personally, I prefer the Gary Null brand reverse osmosis water filter.
The Gary Null Water Filter is an advanced multimedia system. It combines the unparalleled bacteria and parasite removing performance of ceramic, with the chemical reducing ability of activated carbon, blended with a lead-eliminating media. Activated carbon removes more chlorine than any other material available on the market. For those individuals who want to eliminate fluoride from their water, the Gary Null Filter also contains a fluoride removing filter.
If you really want the best water filter for your money, this is the one to get and it's not really that expensive.
It sells for around $320.00 and the filters last about one year. The replacement cost for both filters is around $160.00 or so.
If you are looking for a cheaper way to drink purer water, you can surely afford a brita water filter, which does do quite a lot of good, but does not go as far as a more expensive and more effective water purification system.
