i am so frustrated with the brita, screw-on, faucet filter. it never screws in properly and the "handle" that you turn to screw on the filter is so poorly designed allowing only a weak grip, making it so difficult to screw it on. what a fukkking rip off?
according to my financial model, the screw on was the most economical way to get water compared to bottled, brita pitcher and those water dispensers.
why does my life suck so much?
hey "tradesprofessional", i googled you. you don’t exist. the only website your name shows up is on yahoo. so stop fooling yourself about bob vila and what not.

I’m talking about the cat and dog water dispensers that you can flip over and the water doesn’t leak because of the air pressure pushing down. Could you scale that up to a much larger size or does it only work on a small scale?

I recently read that drinking Nursery water causes florosis, white spots on teeth because of the added flouride.
My daughter has been drinkin it for a year – year 1/2. I had no idea that nursery water did that.
I do see white spots on her teeth sometimes. Or is it genetics? i had a big white spot on my teeth..
Which water should i let my daughter drink. Would Ozarka water be fine? Wat about the culligan refill water for those water dispensers?
I usually buy water at walmart and those r the two types im using at the moment .. ozarka & culligan water.. would any of those cause white spots on teeth?

I am looking to get one of those 5 gallon water dispensers for my home. I see that at the local supermarket they sell 5 gallon jugs that you can return the bottle and get another one. Where do you buy the dispenser and how much do they cost?
Do they work across different brands or bottles?

I have several Tide laundry detergent bottles that have the push-button dispenser on them (similar to culligan water dispensers), and I am trying to figure out how to reuse them. Any ideas? I want to put the spout to good use.
I don’t want to put water in them, fyi.
Also, I considered simply buying more laundry detergent that doesn’t come with a dispenser and refilling this one, but I always get the same size because it is cheaper to buy the larger one, so my new laundry detergent always comes with a dispenser.

I have seen water dispensers that circulate the water and maintains water in the dish. The filters and unit needs to be changed/cleaned and it might get dirty (with debris) as the water keeps circulating from the base to the reservoir.
I was wondering if there is a unit where the water pours into a bowl from a bottle only when the bowl is below a certain level and the water does not over flow. And the water does not circulate from the bowl to the bottle. Similar to a water cooler, but with a sensor that starts and stops the water flow based on the water level in the dish. That way, the water in the reservoir/bottle is always fresh and no filters are needed.
The ones in the stores cirulate the water and needs to be cleaned often as a film might form. Is there any water dispensor that doesnt not circulate the water? It just pours like from a faucet into a dish based on a water level sensor?

My side by side refrigerator has never dispensed cold water, always room temperature. I called Frigidaire today and they told me that their water dispensers do not cool the water. It just doesn’t me sense to me that a fridge would dispense room temperature water. Does anyone have a Frigidaire that dispenses cold water?
