I have a refridgerator which has an inbuilt water filter – does anyone know where I can find replacements?
I’m sick and tired of poisoning myself with fluoride, but am worried that a water filter doesn’t filter it out. I would hate to have to buy bottled water from now on.
Last fall we bought a new Samsung refrigerator that is black and has a water/ice dispenser built into one of the doors. Our water comes from a city well and leaves water spots on my black car unless I use the Mr. Clean autodry carwash which uses a water filter. The fridge also has a water filter that I’ve changed twice now, but any time water drips down the door and dries, it leaves white marks which are very difficult to remove. What can we do to stop this from happening?
I have a small water pitcher with a water filter. I use it only once a week or so to filter water for juice. Can it grow MOLD.!

I got some great advice about finding out what’s causing this yucky odor from incoming water into my house….now I’m trying to figure out if there’s an inline water filter somewhere…to check to see if filter’s dirty. It’s my first time buying a house and I didn’t know enough about asking the right kinds of questions re this. Help??
a) Would anyone recommend me to buy the turtle from a supermarket? They sell a pretty cheap turtle right there, but the only concern from me is that these baby turtles are kinda stacked with each other and I don’t know about their health conditions. Like 20 of them are kept in the same aquarium, almost no water (the staff said that it’s because the strong AC they couldn’t keep too much water, perhaps due to low water temperature? – Make sense? Yes and no.), and yes, they stacked with each other (I’m thinking they do that because they’re trying to be warm?).
b) What are the basic tools to keep a turtle? I am thinking of buying only a couple of turtles that I will put in a small aquarium. Other than aquarium, what else – do I OUGHT TO use water filter, UV rays (would lamp table do it?)?

i look around but couldnt find an answer…because i had one that didnt need to have cartridges replaced and such but it broke recently….
so whats the best faucet water filter? that you dont have to replace it with cartridges? or it takes a long while before you have to replace them?

I really dislike water, I don’t know if its just me being weird but I think it has a weird taste.
Yes I know most of you will be like water doesn’t have a taste but it does to me.
The problem is, I want to like it because I want to attempt to drink the recommended daily amount. At the moment all I do is drink soft drinks, with the odd drinks of milk.
I don’t want to add anything to the water, no flavorings or anything, I want it to be pure.
I think that ice cold water tastes a lot better than room temperature or warm. But I don’t like it enough to think, oh I’m thirsty I want to drink some water.
It’s pretty much ‘Oh I’m thirsty lets grab a can of coke’
I know the health benefits of water, and I want to be able to drink it because I want it. At the moment it’s me drinking it because I’m forcing myself to.
I was thinking maybe I could buy a water filter in attempt to make the water taste better.
What do you reckon?
What can I do to make it taste better and to get myself to actually want to drink it?
My son has recetly gotten thrush and ringworm both caused by fungus. Could the i give him from the water filter be causing his immune system to go down and making him more prone to infections? Thanks in advance for your answers.
I HAVE A LITTLE DRIP AT THE SEAL WHERE THE WHOLE HOSUE WATER FILTER CANISTER THREADS TO THE TOP PART. I TRIED TEFLON TAPE NO DIFFERENCE. iS THERE A SILICON PLUMBERS SEAL PUTTY THAT MIGHT STOP THE DRIP. iT IS EITHER THAT OR CHANGE THE WHOLE SEARS FLITER HOUSING AND MAYBE THE COMPRESSION FITTING.
We just bought our house two months ago, we had the water tested because we are on a well and you can’t buy a house without testing the water when you on a well. Anyway the test came back fine and after moving in we have noticed sediment on our dishes, people say it is calcium. So we put a water filter in and it filters the whole house… The filter is clear and we noticed after 3-4 weeks it seems to be growing a greenish algea/moss. We noticed this after a weekend away from home without the water being used. Is this normal? Is it because it is a clear filter? The filter is working great it is taking out so much we never knew we were drinking.
Recently, the water filter for my house is becoming dirty really fast. Every 2-5 days we have to change it because the water becomes really slow, maybe 1/4 of the regular speed. Help please.
I was filling a jug of water and left the water stream going slowly while i went to do other things when i came back i notice that instead of turning the cold water on i had turn the hot water on. Now is there anything wrong with the water filter? Is it damaged? I’m using a PUR sink mounted water filter. I looked up what would happen if you where to run hot water through and all it said was that it would decrease the effectiveness of the filter. Should I replace the filter?
I have a Top Fin 10 gallon water filter and it is overflowing from the right side. My filter cartridge is about 4 weeks old.
