The Bathroom Faucet valve on the Hot water suplly line is stuck and needs replaced.
My water heater has a shut off valve on the cold water intake side but not on the hot water going out side.
Would I just shut the cold side off on the heater and run some hot water to stop the flow of hot water thru the house?

About a month and a half ago I changed the well pump pressure switch and also the water heater. It had been working fine. Now it seems like when you use a faucet or flush the toilet the water pressure will rise and fall .The water never cuts out at all, just a few seconds of strong pressure that subsides and lower pressure for a few seconds again. The well pump is only running when water is used. Why would this be happening?

They’re kinda small so I’d guess theyre maybe a few months old, I want to put them in a tank, but my mom wont let me since she thinks theyre gunna die, but im gunna get a tank anyway. Any suggestions on the size of the tank and also the brand of filters, heat lamp, UV light, water heater etc. Am i also missing anything that i might need for the turtle aquarium?

I bought an ezdeluxe tankless water heater from http://www.eztankless.com Do I really need to install a filter or water softener? I have heard that these types of water heaters can get clogged.

The house is a quad level with the fireplace on level 2. Our heat bills are high so I need to do something. I could either put in the pellet stove insert in the fireplace or put a pellet stove in the basement and try to attach it to my hot water heat system. Is it possible to put the pellet stove in the garage? I just don’t know anything about this stuff. What about the cost – should I be able to stay under 3000$? Could this thing heat my water heater?

Looking to add on to my home and researching different options. One idea I have is to go with a tank-less water heater system. The home will have three full baths, around 2700 sq ft after all is said and done. My question is would a tank-less water heater system work with our family of 6 and home?

The cold water inlet valve to my washing machine leaks and I need to change the valve. I turned off all the house water and the water heater and when I turn the cold water valve on it still has water running for hours.

I know hot water goes through the water heater, but how does cold tap water get so cold? Why is it not warm?

I have a tank less water heater and a water softener combo, I’ve noticed that my shower pressure gets low when a toilet gets flushed, doing dishes, or even watering the lawn. Is there anyway for me to adjust the water pressure or am I stuck with this dilemma?

My water heater is dead. It’s leaking slowly from the bottom. I turned off the power from the circuit breaker and closed off the water valve. Can I drain the 50 Gal tank just through the hot water faucets in the bathrooms? Will they stop running when the heater is empty? Thanks.
Without using the relief valve.

I live in the country and I have a well. my water began to stink and i lost a lot of hot water so I checked out my water heater and determined that the lower element was bad and since the heater was at least ten years old I opted to get a new one. I bought a Whirlpool Gold water heater with dual anode rods, larger elements, and energy star. the heater was the most expensive 50 gallon that I saw there at 500 it has a 12 year warranty and I installed it myself. I figured that that would solve the problem but after two or three days my water began have a sulfuric smell again. I am wondering if it is my water softener it is a rented one from culligan and has been here since we got the house 9 years ago. we have had various issues with it and every time they come out spend 10 minutes charge 50 and say that it is fine. it is not consistent in putting out soft water, and uses 200-250 pounds of salt in a week to week and a half. there is a water shutoff but that’s outside in front of my house. I have two pipes going into the water heater.
Oh by the way it’s a townhouse so is there any other place the water comes in?

If the water in my new house’s faucets is not hot enough for my liking, is there anything I can do? Do I need to adjust something on the water heater or in the faucet itself? Is this hard to do?
