I heard that drinking water out of plastic bottles causes cancer.
www.kleankanteen.com
My friend has one. She puts water in a filter container thing (the kind that you put the water in, and it filters through it), and drinks that.
But I’m curious to know where I should get the water I put in the filter. From the tap or from the bottles of water. I have well water (which I use to refill my water jugs), so can I just filter that??

Also the nerdy guy in the bowling alley had a thing for bugs. I also remember the main guy having lots of water jugs (the culligan kind) And they didn’t ever want to be in the dark? If anybody knows this would be very helpful. I know it isn’t much to go on. I do remember it had a sort of religious theme not like a christian movie but about God and the Devil?? I remember that the main guy got a bug from the nerd in the bowling alley and kept it in a little matchbox. Sorry but if you have any idea it is bugging the crap out of me. Thanks!!!!
Yes Constantine thank you so much if I could figure out now how to mark it as resolved I would. THANKS that was bugging the crap out of me

When I go to refill my water jugs at the store I have a choice of either deionized water or drinking water. Whats the difference and is one better for me than the other?

I don’t think I have the counter space for a table top model in my kitchen, so one of the stands is preferable. And….how much do people pay for delivery of the water jugs?
Thanks so far to the first two who responded. It wasn’t me who gave a hands down to you both. That’s weird, because both of you gave valid opinions/information.

I have been buying either bottled water or going to one of the water machines and filling up my water jugs. We live in CA and where we live the taste of the water is fine. My husband things buying water is crazy and says that those filling machines are the same thing as if we had a filter. So, would it be worth it just to get one of those sink attachment filters? Do those work well?

I need to get the storage crates (look like milk crates) for my 5 gal water jugs. I have 10 bottles of water at all times so you can imagine the wasted floor space. My water delivery service doesn’t have them. I’ve asked people that have them, they don’t remember where they got them.

What is the best way to get filtered water for an office? We are sick of getting those large water jugs. We have an old building and 2 coolers. We were looking into filter systems for a small office (20) people. Any Suggestions/ We looked at Ampac water system

I know you cannot use soap in the jug since it could leave a residue in your refilled drinking water. I assume you use a bit of bleach and cold water to clean your water jug… does anyone know the amount? and the exact way to safely do this?
I was also told a while back of a way to refresh the water jug with baking soda (this is a side question – but not the main one!)…
the jugs are one gallon drinking water jugs that have never been used for anything besides water. We have a local station where we can fill jugs of spring water for 25cents. I have about 15 jugs and would like to use the station – but not before my jugs are sanitized.
any help?
