ANY material has a lower specific gravity at a higher temp than at lower temp. That is because the heat energy causes the molecules to become energized and move around. The difference may be so small that it is not discernible, but it is there. Hot water would weigh less than exactly the same portion of cold water, but you could not tell on any household scale.
no it doesn’t. probably some of the hot water evaporated (or boiled) and now it’s vapor in the air.

i might say yes becuase when water get cold or freezes it trap air particles to thats y if u put a glass um lemme think lol glass anything it will break from over pressure
lol if you see the steam you can tell that is water being boiled away..
