If you're concerned try adding about 1/4 tap water to boiled water and increase the tap water fraction every 2-3 days until you've got him drinking 100% tap. If you see any indications of upset stomach or diarrhea then you'll have to go back to boiling for a while. Kids are remarkably resilient, don't worry... you’re still alive so your water can’t be too bad…
