Table water needn’t be of natural origin. It is an artificial mixture of tap water and other ingredients such as saltwater or mineral water. Since table water is not bound to a specific spring it may be produced and bottled anywhere. It may also be sold in bulk – as in water for water dispensers. Unlike mineral water, it needs no official approval.
