Should I use distilled, spring, drinking water? Which is best and do I still have to add water conditioner to the bottle water before putting it in the tank? Thanks

Tap water. Why would you want to waste money on bottled water for an aquarium? Use tap water and buy water conditioner.
Use distilled.
It costs about the same as using water conditioner on the same amount of tap water, but it contains way fewer chemicals and no germs (which can be found in tap water depending on where you live), which is better for your fish.
spring water You should add conditioner… it add other things your fish need.

I use spring water, and when I can’t buy the gallon water for whatever reason I give it tap water with the water conditioner, but you should be fine with just spring water.
I wouldn’t use bottled water. Tap water is fine. Fish aren’t as finicky as humans
Any bottled water will work but make sure that is is reverse ossmossiss water…it will say on the bottle. That means it is filtered really well.
Depends on the fish you are keeping and the water conditions in your area. If you use tap water, it will need to be treated. For goldfish, use treated tap water. For columbian tetras, use RO water. For one betta, use spring water. Don’t use drinking water ever, that’s not even fit for humans. Find out whats best for the fish you want to raise and what kind of water you have in your area (hard? soft?). You might need to even mix them.
Do not use distilled. Only use that for saltwater. Distilled water lacks the minerals and other dissolve particles fish need. You could use tap water but make sure the water isn’t hard. If you live in a city, and you use tapwater conditioner is a must. In my opinion, springwater is your best bet.
