i think ttthey’re all pretty reasonable. i use a brita and am very happy witth the brita pitcher.
you could get the five gallon water bottles that go on a cooler. not sure what the cost is but i think it would be cheaper than small bottles
faucet is better..
i like my pur faucet filter. you can run filtered or unfiltered water thru it, just by flipping it. it has an indicator light to tell you when to replace the filter as well. i believe pur offers a few different types of filters for the faucet ones, one simply filters impurities and the other filters but also has a mineral inside to give that bottle water taste, which greatly improved the taste of our tap water. the only downside is the good filter is about $20 a pop and lasts for 2 to 3 months. which is a big hit up front, but i guess its still cheaper than a case or two of water every week.
