they are down by the floor in the front.
I’m pretty sure it’s on the back. I’d go check mine, but it’s just too hard to move!
look on the top right side inside the fridge its round shaped
The filter is located on the bottom of the fridge behind the front grill. Turn the knob to release the panel and replace the filter.
There is a diagram of the parts and their location in the warranty book
mine is on the bottom behind the cover. It is round and you have to twist it to get it off. A filter will cost you about $25.
You obviously have mis-placed the Owners manual. To get one, call 1-800-341-2516. Find your appliance’s model number (NOT the serial number) it should be on a plate somewhere on the fridge. Give the operator the model number and request an Owners manual, and this time – put it in a place where you can reference it as needed. The model number will be a 3 digit number, then a period, then a 6 digit number. There will be a small charge for the owners manual.

If you can submit the complete model number of your fridge I’ll be glad to find the location of the filter in the fridge and the best deal on the new one. Sears usually charge about $10.00 plus shipping for manuals. The name plate with the model number is inside the fresh food compartment on the top panel or on the side.

It is on the front, bottom of the fridge! in the grill or just inside the doors at the bottom!
bottom left in the front. sis if the water doesn’t doesn’t smell or taste bad i would suggest that the filter doesn’t need to be changed. filter changes will vary wildly by locale and water quality. i suggest you just reset the filter and go again. those filters are expensive, at least for me and the filter change light is on a timer not a water quality monitoring system, so what you have is a light that says hey, MIGHT be time.
Do you have the owners manual?
