Whirlpool Gold top/bottom refrigerator water dispenser not working?

I have a top/bottom Whirlpool Gold refrigerator. We noticed this evening that there is no response from the water dispenser and the light for the water dispenser is not on either. It seems like it’s probably an electronic issue. Any advice on how to fix this?

There’s a good chance that the control board inside the dispenser may have failed. Get the model number located inside the refrigerator near it’s light and then u can order a replacement part from one of these two sites:
